  6. Looking for a HW45 pistol (full power) pref.177 consider .22. To swap for Ratcatcher .22 with following modifications "crooked barn" air valve (ported and bigger volume) Gmac steel breech and extended probe, short bolt fitted.Gmac brass barrel band with dovetail, silencer adapter and Airarms silencer included.gmac power adjuster, Hawke sport 4x40 scope. Now the interesting bit...has Gmac co2 capsule replacement unit fitted and is running on compressed air @800psi from a 3000psi paintball tank via a coiled hose with on/off. 7. Hi. The hw90 has a theoben gasram for its power plant similar to the gas struts on car tailgates etc but much more pressure..the Hw 95 is a "standard" spring/piston affair. From memory the 90 is heavier..some like gasrams some don't I personally like them (I have a theoben gasrammed rifle) but for ease of strip and repair and tuning the springer is the way forward although the gasrams are lifetime units. Think you'll struggle to get a 90 for £200 and even a nice 95 is gonna cost a little more unless you see a "bargain" before somebody snaps it up! If you can nudge to £250 you'll be getting a
  8. Get a weirauch! Hw90/95 spring or gasram (theoben) can't go wrong tad heavier than a lightning but will last forever if looked after and not messed with too much.could even look at hw77/80/97 but getting heavier still. Had a few lightnings and TBH the latest xl was a piece of C@*P returned twice to BSA to be told nothing wrong and when I stripped piston was cracked! Fitted a v-Mach kit and it was sweet but never really got on with it...sold. Early BSA are better.shot a Stoeger xs20? Fires nice and are accurate @25yds. My suggestion get a.22 hw95 if hunting .177 if target .

  10. I bought a nice hw77 with Simmons scope of here £150 not so long ago, needed a little TLC but shoots amazingly well. It was very local to me so that was collection price.. But shows that he who waits...and see's it 1st!!! Good luck.
  11. What sort of rest mate? Is it for shooting off or cleaning etc? If its for shooting off your best/ cheapest option is get yourself a nice strong plastic bag (free) quarter fill it with sand (free) and fold the ends over and put into a good thick sock and fold the end over and secure (tape/elastic)...ta dahh. Failing that spend £20 on a sandbag or £30-£150 On a bipod... ATB.
  12. Simmons Deerfield 3x9x50 used but no marks scratches to glass .slight cosmetic to tube no crimps or dings only used on air rifle. 30/30 ret with fine centre crosshairs (standard Simmons ret) zeros and keeps it spot on.complete with one piece mount..parallaxed @25mtrs can be easily reset (unlike some I can think off...) £25 posted......
