    Hi I only shoot shotguns occasionally as my main interest is air rifles. I hunt with a semi auto but I have been trying out clays on the odd Sunday at Kinver. I do quite enjoy clays so I thought I might get an U/O. I really dont want to spend too much on shotguns and think that the semi and O/U would pretty much keep me satisfied in the shotgun department.     Hi Davey . What class will you put the SR in mate ? hi Paul what cal is it? the way i see it you have a choice of three .22 class,Recoiling class,Ladies top score, It's 177 and I was hopping for Novice, cos the dress that I have to wear in the ladies is not quite fitting right these days. Ha ha. So are you OK with the SR in recoiling ? Not that I think I am going to win, I have seen the videos of your mate shooting lol.

    hi Paul sorry buddy "computer says no!!" i am sure he mentioned something about if you wanted to shoot on a Saturday he might squeeze some in,but will double check for you will we be seeing you at the UK springer championships at the end of the month? It's no biggy mate, thought it might be a bit of fun to give some of the lads a go. Hopefully i will make the UKs mate not really sure at the moment though , I had my operation on my arm today so it depends how quick the muscle heals up . I will keep you posted.

    My apprentice was killed at Hilsbourgh . He had gone there with his younger brother who also worked at the garage . One brother died and one brother survived . My workmate and another lad from the garage drove to the ground to rescue the serviiving brother and drove him round the hospitals looking for the missing brother . They all told me that the police tried to stop them from entering the hospitals. The surviving brother later told me that the police were hearding them into the ground with police horses. Justice at last. RIP Steven Brown.

    Here you go Davey I had a think about your spring compressor and came up with this idea. One device in brass with an insert that fits inside it with a flange for the larger diameter spring. This is a prototype so I haven put the usual amount of effort into it but it should work . If yo send me your address I will post it for you to try . Hopefully it will work on both rifles. ATB Coop

    Hi Davey I missed the Junes meet because it was Finns birthday party, BBQ , bouncy castle, family get together ( spoiling that one if you ask me lol ) . So by my reckoning that gets me a free pass for The October meet. So put me down mate and Il start working on the Mrs now, I am already in the good books because I have finally agreed to take a couple of weeks off for a family holiday in some where sunny. Can I get the van on or near the field ?

    I am moonlighting from AAOC ha ha. It's gone a bit quite on there . I have been watching this forum after meeting up with you THL guys at the AAOC meet, and I must say I like what I see. It seems like a good forum to me so I think illmstick around if thats OK? I have also taken up shotgun hunting so there is a bit more to keep me occupied here. Once I have mastered the technical side of this forum, it's a bit trickier than AAOC, so be patient with me.

    I would just like to take the time to introduce my self to the Forum. I am a lifelong shooter and hunter. I am a member of quite a few forums but most active on AAOC. I am sure that a few will know me from there. I am a fanatical springer fiddler and enjoy making things. My interests are guns,motorcycles, watches, music, real ale, guitars ( wich I play badly ) and machining and finally I have a fascination for Gold. I am sure that even now you are probably thinking that I am certifiable. I am looking forward to Making some new friends on THL. ATB Coop.

    Hi Davy I am a regular at SFS as I only live a couple of miles from them. I would also like to meet up with you again ( we met at the AAOC meet ) it would be a pleasure to come over to the shop when you pick up your rifle and have a chat, it would be good to meet up with Craig again too.
