    been asked back to controll rabbits at a local garden centre i do pest control for as ther just reopened after 3 month shut . problem is i got rid off my air gun october to fund towards a 17 hmr so just wondering [BANNED TEXT] good springer can get for rabbit control for no more than 250 pound any thoughts welcome thanks .

    well last thurs night took cz 452 and s200 in 22 started at 7 ish on rabbits with riffle till 12 ish not a lot around to begin with but when light started to fade the rabbits started to appear managed to bag 7 not great but cant moan then took to air gun and started on rats round pig pens and in barnes thats were fun started must have shot over 30 easy with red filter light on then whent to see were foxes have been seen by farmer but no show after leaving couple off rabbits to try tempt them in and waiting hour half bored stiff . then daylight started to appear ealey morning so started ambushi

    heard off somebody tday that a fox and cubs have taken refuge behind the church in next villige and that 6 cats have gone missing since ther arrived ther so is it often foxes go for cats if so mite pop up and see vicor see if he wants shut off them dont think he will let me tho two many saints up ther

    well officer came this afternoon check my gun cabinett and ammo box everything ok so signed my certificates then he whent through selling and buying guns part and ammo part before giving me my certificates well chuffed only downside is have to wait couple week before buy mates 17hmr coz work in building trade and weather been shit so not much work at moment but at least got certificates now only took 7 week from start to finish well done west yorkshire police

    cheers mate phoned him up an hour ago to ask over a ammo box while i was talking to him he said he was going to phone me later coz all been passed and got all 4 guns i put in for and to phone him once cabinett fixed chuffed so thanks lads for replys

    Had my f a c interview 3 week ago and i no sounds daft but i cant remember if he said i had to wait till he has spoken to refferees and farmer whos land i shoot on for him to phone me omce everythimg cleared to then fix gun cabinett for him to check or if he said get gun cabinett fixed in then phone him i no hes been intouch with referees and farmer and i dont want to phone him he might think im pushng him any one know ther routine i know its diffrent in diffrent areas im in west yorkshire

    prob because he think wont have enough room in gun cabinet safe coz put down on form 500 for 22 rimfire and 500 for hmr so he prob think wont fit in top lock box dont know so if i can fit ammo in gun safe cartriges dont have to be locked up

    When i had my f a c and sgc interview last friday officer told me i would have to fit seperate safe for shotgun cartriges coz wont be enough room in gun cabinett for all ammo so ive had a look arounf and there not cheap so yu lads think normal safe do or any one know were get them cheap

    Well got phone call this morning asking be ok for interview friday morning so friday the big day. Got two big dogs so will have to put in pen last thing i want is one off them chewing his leg that would be goodbye to ticket. So just wonderd yu lads got any advice and du they check house out for security and dus it help having two big dogs around house. Or and i know about tea and biscuits lol

    Whent for a shoot last night teatime ish and weather been warmish all day so decided to have shoot up at one off my farms in north yorkshire when arrived farmer was in sheep pen on egde off fields with his sheep dog so as i looked over fields and noticed with all the rain and shit weather weve had that the grass was pritty high in places more so along the hege line so as i made my way through the gate i joked your lawnmower broke down and he replyed not had time to do it yet and by the way when i was in field earlier with dog i noticed something move fast in the grass he said he thought it wa

    Whent to new farm permisslon laste night at 830 after a break ln weather after rain most off day . When arrived at farm saw farmer and got slip signed before setting off after a chat wi farmer and got gear out off van whent up into first field through gate and along hege row got about 45 yards down field and saw a rabbit sat eaten the grass tried to sneak up but i must have spooked it as i only walked 15 yard then bolted or well i thought would have been good start to get first rabbit through furst gate so carried on walking along hegerow got to bottom of field and nothing out so whent to look

    got a phone call last week off a mate asking if i would be intrested in meeting his mate who owns 75 acres off farm land 20 mins away.so arranged to meet him last night to have ound and to show me were the boundries are few footpaths bottom two fields but will stay away from them not worth all bother off the antis but other fields ok plenty off hills and ditches and old stone walls to ambush behind they is 4 to 5 big warrens to shoot at so after 2 hours off looking around and talking to farmer got the ok so off there thurs night to get permission slip signed and have a shoot so thats another 7
