Bearinator from here took us ferreting today on his permission. Only got one rabbit but still had a good day out Rabbit got caught up in the net and Jack picked it up and held it for us till Bear broke its neck Jack hasnt been ferreting much so he did quite well and didn't eat the ferret :laugh: I took it home and skinned and gutted it (first time I had done this). Just properly starting my 20 month old Saluki x this season, been working on his training. Had him out ferreting with a lad off here today and he's gunna take us out lamping with him

Jacks litter mates are a bit shy too. What was yours crossed with? Lurcher to lurcher, it was a twat at times , I tried to get him out the cage at my mams house and he started going for me Lol! Hope mine behaves himself when we go out! He should, I'll get you the links to his pics and a few clips of him learning to ferret Thanks

Like to see other dogs at the shows but my Jack always gets really nervous when the judge touches him. No idea why as he's never had bad experiences . Then ya get all the lads saying what a shite dog he is My brindle dogs the same if anyone he don't know touches him , suppose I'd be worried if a stranger stared feeling me , then again maybe not Daft bugger Must be the Saluki in them! funny how they are dead serious, just makes me laugh , it's even funnier watching the serious lads/lasses storming off when they don't place Feck me , the joys I get off laughing at some folk :laugh:

Both look great, how they bred?

Went to Askern Greyhound Stadium today for a less competitive day than what was on yesterday. Put my dog in two 414m races (one and a half times round the track). He won one of them Good day out but quite hot so he couldn't do the longer distances like he normally does. Got a couple of pics - Mines the one with the white muzzle.
