Bought a new scope hawke sidewinder after selling my 95 it's a 6.5x20-42 really good Any way our lass came with me to shop and waited in car for me after an hour of deciding i came out with the above scope with a Scowl on her face she looked at the case it came in and said how much was that so I quickly said not that much ? The next thing she said was what you doing with the case my make up brushes would fit into that perfectly with wich I said I know love that's why I went for this one and not the cheaper one as Im always thinking ov you ?not another word ov how much it cost Laughing all

I have a full hw 35 non safety type I bought to recon but the main chamber had bad grooves in it and the piston was scored so i sanded them out and when I built it up the cocking arm slid down the piston I think someone has has don this previously to me and sanded the grooves out as well so the main cylnder is nackerd along with the piston the barrel is good as I've just re blued it and put a new breach seal in there is a brand new piston seal with this as well the stock is ok no cracks but could do with sanding and a re varnishing.   9. Hi all iv been on my new permission for a bit now and have started getting bags for the pot. Iv been at all times of the day morning evenings and through the night and it seems there's no patterns emerging when the rabbits prefer to be out don't know what it's like in the day as I have to make myself scarse when the peskey golfers turn up. Iv just bought one for the ns50 off e bay came from china cost £15 in total less than a 3/4 of the size of the lead acid and 3/4 less weight no need to lug a big battery round with you straps to the stock of the rifle with no wires hanging about to be pulled out by trees ect only down fall is it don't last as long as the lead acid batt but if you charge it befor you go out its not a problem

Hi all iv been on hear a short while and have been a air shooter for 10 years now I have a golf course permission and was hoping to apply for a 0.17 hmr/shotgun in the next year but have no experience with the .17 I don't know if this is cheeky but if I don't ask I'll never know. I was just wondering if any of you guys could show me a few things as iv herd that sum firearms officers like you to have sum sort of experience with the rifle befor you apply for it. Hi there is a place near you at Blaydon burn its a farm with a big wood I'm shure it's called brockwell woods its back to basic and dogs and fires are ok it's on the Internet I stayed there in a caravan for about 3 months while working up in Newcastle but no guns allowed I payed by night and I'm shure it was £7 a night ill have a look for a link for you
