i couldent stand it no longer i was getting cabin feaver being stuck in the house and on top of that ive packed the cigs in this weekend i had to get out! my chance came this evening a break in the clouds and the rain stopped . i didnt hang around i grabbed the gun and went for a quick mooch on my permision but when i got there it started raining again!.. oh well i was there now so i grabbed my stuff and headed for the trees waiting for a pigeon or two but sadly it was not to be .The clouds were building up in size and colour... black as a witches tit! i was about to call it a day.Somthing then caught my eye about 30yrds away on the ground it was mr bunny! .....phwack! cracked him up the side of the nut he went down without a twitch i collected my prize and headed home just in time as the heavens opened.

On Ebay, search 'dash camera'. You can get a night vision camera with monitor for £23.00!. Takes a memory card as well. Might be shite, don't know, but for £23.00 all in you can chop it about and see if you can come up with some thing that might work.
Ive got one of theses on the way i won it for 11 quid its worth a punt at that. i got it to see if i can make a nv spotter with but if i can get the lens out and fix a zoom and focus lens in it might well go on the back of the scope or it might well be a pile of shite!. im going to be adding alot more ir..i will publish my findings on here as i go along.

ahh i bit like the old shoppacheque guy who use to come round near xmas... i bet you pay a inflated price right?Kanny you misunderstand, I don't want a loan/finance rather the product isn't released until you pay the balance off. The guys i used didn't charge for the privilege either. You do own it outright, but you're commited with a target. Aimless saving doesn't work for me, too undisciplined ya see.

I get a blue & orange default page, something about clearing dns cache
yup me2........ great work on getting things going again ian thanks ..i had to watch corrie with the mrs

i think you have to ask yourself will this new shiny toy do anything better than your old toy. i rarely have spare cash and when i do somthing more important always crops up to take it out my hands. i think its better to own somthing outright than to owe on it ... example my car is getting on abit but shes a very good reliable car and never lets me down now i work with a couple of guys who are always having new shiny cars they bring them to work and everyone gathers round to admire me included and for a split second im envious but then i ask how much you paying a month there faces normaly change from pride to shame the fact is they dont actuly own the car the MAN ownes the car and i would think you of all people milegajo would not want to be a slave to the MAN..i know its hard when you want things that are out your reach but take pride in what you do own and that is truly yours

well ive taken the plunge a paid out a huge 11 quid for one of theses so i will do a honest update when and it arrives
Kanny,
If you really want to make your digi spotter good and use for rabbits too then I seriously suggest you get a added IR illuminator.
I added 48 IR led's today and I have just tested mine with a witness with me and I am now getting 40 metres comfortably now Gods honest.
Ill do a video of it in action very soon.
This is what mine looks like now.
Si.

cheers si i was planning on adding more ir i will wait till the unit arrives first and make a decision wether its worth throwing more money at or start again... for 11 quid its no big loss at worst i will have a recorder for the car...if we all keep playing around trying diffrent things it wont be long before theres some very good systems going about.
-
thanks for the demo and the links stubby im currently having ago at a couple of diffrent systems nothing ground breaking like you say its been done before but its good to have a play and save a few quid.

Nothing wrong with a bit of plinking, its where springers come into their own
thats what i miss about the springers when the goings slow you can plink away without a care in the world
