  1. here here d, i second that i will give tam a phone tonight. will keep my eyes pealed for anything round my way for you .
  2. sad to see her like that D . im sure between your mrs and the kids, she will love the easy life. if you interested in goin out with me and my mutts give me a bell, would be good to catch up. whats your plans ahead?, are you likely to get another dog?. when i spoke to tam he reckoned you had had enough and were giving up , surely not
  3. sorry to hear that D. big tam told me where and when it happened. take my hat off to you for managing to carry her that distance off the mountain a lot of people woul not have managed it. hope she responds to vets treatment chris
  4. awright davie, big tam told me your re-homing Charlie boy, fs you must be gutted bud, if i had space id take him on for you, will keep my ear to ground and text you if i know anyone looking for a dog. What you doing with Arwen, i got told your allowed to keep one dog is that right Chris
  5. Brilliant idea, dont know if it could be done though, that would be more than what the coppers actually do. Gives people a chance and start to where they can look to find a missing dog. Also maybe make the shits think twice if they know theres a fair chance that there actually known and up here, and if they do blag someones dog , theres a fair chance there gonna get a not so friendly chap at the door
  6. bloody hell davie you shoulda drove efter them and found out where they went , just be careful to much of thisgoing on. i think john might be right about someone seeing you , cause your neighbourhood is a bit uppercrust and full of toffee noses, told you to "move out o there you will never fit in " incidently recently heard of a few little wallopers of the junkie variant , are stealing dogs in the paisley area managed toget hold of this assholes number 07779135268 known as stef, so anyone in that neck of woods he supposed to stay down near love st , watch your dogs
  7. its a pup, 8 and a half month and you dont like her,so your getting rid of her. she is still learning, so why rehome her Why keep a dog you don't like? All you'll end up doing is leaving that dog in the kennel and working one of the others instead , she won't get to see the quarry and will end up being ruined ... It's called kennel management and I know the bitch will turn out a better dog if someone else had her and used her for what she was bred for which is foxes (NI) where I prefer to hunt edible game ok, was just wondering the reason, i to prefer edible game, as i said in my ea
  8. righty chris, aye thats her 7 month and 24tts, still that daft puppy stage, but hey in a straight run she keeps up with charlie but struggles in turns, but it will come good for the winter. Had her out with john and a few of his mates the other night, done well in a few runs, although had me frustrated at times but i guess its part of the game eh. looking forward to catching up with you mate, this winter i intend winning my money back lol, see you soon, hope the family is doing well :tongue2: hahahaha NO chance Brude is on fire just now, but i relish the challenge o and congrats
  9. awright Davie, jesus Arwen got big , wat you been feeding her. What height is she just now, she looks huge compared to Charlie. Need to arrange another run out with brude and ozzi, see you soon

    fox cubs

fair play if its your job (pest control) , but im not into hunting out of season for sport. i like to wait till the quarry can at least learn to use the legs and gather some speed, if not then its just a slaughter
  11. is that what you class as a working dog then , a body guard . are you mad, dont be daft. if you have read any of my posts, you will find out im not a fan of any lurcher with bull x through them, as they dont suit my needs. As to classing a "working dog" it depends what your working for, everyone uses dogs for different purposes, so who the hell am i to judge anyones preference. All i said was "its a cracking looking big beast" More to the point, who the hell are you to judge anyones thoughts, away crawl into your hole ya muppet. well said djs, Plant, there are ma

  21. im new to this game was wondering what would be the perfect lurcher for me id be looking for all types of edible quarryi have been told between 22" and 25" would be ideal for my needs and stay away from bull x as they tend to mark the meat.the dog would be on all terrain and would be kept indoors,as i have mentioned im new to this game and would rather seek helpfull info before purchasing a dog that might not suit me any helpfull advice would be appreciated it is worth noting that my dog would be working alongside my mates lurchers. thanks
  22. ther,s allways bin foxs, were it 2 year ago or 20,,iff owt more big guns now than ever bin,,so i wud not say fox his down to the rabbs decrease,,,the foxs get some stick of these big guns big time,, Would reply to that comment but havent got a flying 5uck what you are on about sorry mate ! i would say there were more foxes were kicking about in the early days of lamping as hardly any old dog men bothered with them and no one really had guns so i very much doubt its anything to do with foxes foxes will take the odd rabbit but rabbits are not there main food source not enough to wipe
  23. id, just like to say hi and wish everyone ATB. i have recently got into doing a little outdoor walks with lurchers, and really beginning to enjoy it. maybe will look into getting my own lurcher in th future
