    I've never had an issue with a hawke scope before, and to be fair, thats the reason I purchased another. Looks good on my hw97. Thanks for you feedback. Darren

    I have recently purchased a 4x12x50 hawke scope and have had trouble zeroing, I noticed that the crosshairs are revolving within the scope making it impossible to zero. Is this a common fault? The reason i'm asking is, if it is, I will ask to change the brand on return.

    Hi mate: don't sell your tx you will regret it. I sold a .177 last year with a walnut stock so I could buy a pcp and I ended up buying another one. Save up and buy a pcp when you have the funds, you can keep th tx as a backup. Darren

    Hi guys, I really appreciate your advice and input, things really seem to have changed over the last 3 yrs, I thought it would be easy to find land to shoot upon. I love hunting and plinking, I used to shoot for the Warley air legue and go hunting with old mate who moved away, funny how things change.     Hi, I'm new to this site and I need help finding a rough shoot, I have delivered several form to farm introducing my self, giving a profile and asking for permission to shoot my UK legal air rifle on their land, without any success Can anyone help me find a rough shoot around Kiddermister,Hagley, B'North, Worcester, Kinver or anywhere local to Stourbridge. I'm 41 yes of age, married with children, I manage a large machine shop within a foundry and can get references if required. Please help, any advise or help to get me back into hunting would be very much appreciated. Many thanks in advance

    Hi Davy thanks for your link, the form looks very good, I took forms out to 6 or 7 farms over the weekend, places that I used to go with a shooting buddy and I've had no replies to date. I can understand that people are nervous about ant Tom, dick or Harry on there land, but alot of hunters go on their land without permission. I personally would like to meet and know the people wondering around. Thanks for your help from a hunter without a hunt. Cheers Darren

    Hi Steve, I'm also new to this site (darrenm) and i have also purchased a new rifle with the expectation of finding a rough shoot, I used to shoot with a friend on an industrial site and a pig farm but he moved away and now I'm very nervous about approaching the land owner. Can you please the best way to approach the land owner or advise how I could search for a shooting buddy that already has permission that can introduce me to someone. I live near Dudley, I'm 41 yrs old, married with 2 children, I'm an engineering manager. Any help would be much appreciated. Darren
