  3. just brought an fx ab electric compressor and its missing the bleed valve screw. my guess is its the same as the one on the fx 3/4 stage hand pumps so does anyone know of a shop/internet seller that does this part. its the brass looking screw with a round flat head that lets the air out before discconecting gun bottle from the pump.
  4. what sort of accuracy and power does it produce?
  5. i no nothing of your capabilities with NV gear, so please dont get offended by this, a design without a working model is nothing more than a picture/idea etc putting something together thats actually usable is a whole different ball game. a working model wouldn't cost a great deal other than parts and labour if you have access to the right equipment. try and get something botched together and see if it works, if you need a hand with anything drop me a PM. if you willing to sign a confidentially agreement i'll have a chat abut it. obviously it would be 1000% better to have a working mod
  6. just a design, to make a working model would have cost many thousands and the uk company i spoke to in depth about it wanted over a grand per model manufactruered! which mad ein china would cost say 90£
  7. i had a great idea to solve this but when i went to the protutyping company they wanted to much to start it off
  8. took the mod off today and tried it. just the same. it is fairly windy up here every day i have been testing it. maybe the wind? maybe the rounds? the only other two things i can think of are human error (each time i have tried) or that i am shooting on the edge of a woodland and where the feild meets the woodland the bits of bramble may be catching. all that said there have been a number of long threads on other foums on about the consistency and quality of hmr rounds.
  9. sportman already sold out of them and not getitng any more at that price
  10. there is a guy on u tube that uses a nv monocular through one. i have modded a range finder in the past by putting a small led light inside it so i can see the read out at least. it still not ideal! the laser bellow the barrel / above the scope works the best so far for me
  11. I use a similar method by mounting my focus adjustable nv ir illuminator under my barrel with a cheap barrel clamp. it helps if you use a half mill dot scope as the range increases the dot/beam moves up the vertical mill dot recital up to say 100 yards. it help me measure infront of and past my zero. BUT I would love to hear of a better way of range finding at night.
  12. hi fellow .22lr shooters, I'm having some bother with my .22 rounds at the minute. has anyone had any problems with their .22lr Eley sub hollow points. The last 2-3 boxes which I have used have been flying all over the place at 50 yard zeroing sessions. it is very windy up here at the minute and the rounds have been stored at around freezing for a couple of months before use. anyone had any bad batches?
  13. 5 full boxes of velocitors 40g 1435fps 1 full box of Remington yellow jacket 33g 1500fps both hv both hollow point £25 the lot collected/f2f
  14. as title says. how is the fox and rabbit populations on your shoots at the minute give the last year of rubbish weather?
