  1. Do Russian and Syrian airstrikes not displace people and create refugees then? Earlier you were quite happy to accept those displaced by airstrikes as collateral damage, seems you're the one who's relaxed with the idea of creating more refugees... About as much as western air strikes don't you agree??? It's part of war yes, do I want then coming to this country? Do I fcuk..... Why the need to let them in here? Plenty of nearby western armed countries nearby to escape to don't you agree???
  2. So you think he's done a good job of keeping Syria stable? I think he's failed at that personally. He certainly won't keep it stable when the West are involved will he now....So the instability only started when the West got involved? Righto When the West got involved that caused a lot of the conflict to be exported when it was reasonably well contained within borders by what ever method before. But Syria was still unstable, which was my point.I think you don't understand what relative means...The word relative doesn't appear in any of the posts in that quote chain I think you will find it
  3. War= more refugees for BGD to welcome into this country....
  4. The thing is, the people of Syria voted for Assad. They know that without him the country would be in a worse state being run by rebels. He is the lesser of two evils imo.... The thing is, the people of Syria voted for Assad. They know that without him the country would be in a worse state being run by rebels. He is the lesser of two evils imo....They didn't vote for him, he took over the job from his father, he's a dictator. There was elections in 2014 but only in the areas loyal to Assad. Yes and under Assad is the only way the people of the Middle East can live in relative peace.Note the w

  6. You believe it was the oppressed innocent people of Syria that started the uprising that caused the war? Guess you didn't know that the Americans have been training and financing ant-government opposition for years before 2011.....

Well if he hasn't had then wouldn't Syria have been at war since 2000????

  13. The western world likes to call him a dictator don't they? One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.... You were calling him a dictator yourself earlier in the thread! You really need to make your mind up. Who do you think has killed more of the Syrian population, Assad and Russia or ISIS? Who has more legitimate right to be in Syria Assad or the outside forces ?So leveling cities and wiping out civilian populations is perfectly fine as long as whoever is doing it has a "legitimate right" to be in the country, righto. Nationals of a country have the right to determine it
  14. But only Assad and the Russians do that.....
  15. I think he's good for Syria and Europe as a dictator or not, what do you think??? Answer the question...

Russian bombing is wiping out ISIS, Western bombing strengthens them.... It was all going nicely to plan for the Yanks until Putin stepped in.... 21. He has support among the Alawites because they're his ethnic group and he hasn't been bombing the f**k out of them for the last 5 years. You really think he has support of the majority of the citizens of Syria? Well if that's the case he won't need propping up by Russia and the West will he? I assume he'll be holding free and fair elections any day now to prove how popular he is among the population Who are the people he's bombing then???? Don't tell me, innocent civilians....Three quarters of the population of Aleppo have been killed or displaced by bombing since 2012, were they all armed

I assume he'll be holding free and fair elections any day now to prove how popular he is among the population Suppose a respectable opinion poll found that Bashar al-Assad has more support than the Western-backed opposition. Would that not be major news? | what's left https://gowans.wordpress.com/2015
