  1. Thanks Deker - any idea of starting benchmark to list at? I was thinking around £500-600 with scope included...
  2. Hi All, I have an FAC Huntsman Classic XL. It shoots at around 40ft/lbs and I just don't use it - must have had less than 300 pellets through it. Lovely Turkish walnut stock and will include the Hawke Map Pro 3-9 with mounts. Wondering what sort of price would be reasonable? I think they go for around £900 new but this one is special as it was handbuilt and is slightly different internally
  3. Still for sale? Is the choke fixed or can it be swapped? do you know if it takes 3.5 carts?
  4. I have a hand-built Huntsman XL running at 40 ft lbs and the main thing I would say is that you can only really expected 15-20 decent shots at that power level and the POI can drop quite quickly so it is really useful to spend an afternoon testing 3 or 4 types of heavy pellets - I tend to use Bisley Magnums and putting I would say 40-50 of each pellet through, charging after 20 shots and record the drops at range. Use chairgun too and make a range card with notes relating to drops at different pressures. I managed a sub -1 inch group at 85 yards after a bit of practice in good conditions.
  5. yes mate, got a Lanber 12b o/u and a 410 folding Pedretti - both nice guns thanks! I got a .22 Daystate Huntsman XL FAC also at Christmas! Let me know if you ever have any more "Free" guns?!!
