  2. Unfortunately i have to agree, i don't think we will ever see it. We just have to enjoy what sport we have left. politics is a play of words, as long as u call it sport and not hunt for food or pest control that it will be hard to bring it back

  7. dont know why they think we enjoy seeing an animals die.. i hunt because i like watching my dog doing what he is bred to do.. and that is to control pests in farms. and once the fox is located its shot straight away.. and then i feel proud of my lil terrier and the farmer is happy.. and thats it.
  8. yeah there not many of them around.. do many people dig to them.. wouldnt you lose a lot of the gameness quality of a terrier when u introduce beagle.. but the plus is your dog will be a better bushing dog and better nose, maybe second cross to patterdale and selective bout it will help get bets of both side..

  12. Hi Jai I have had nearly 4 months with my dogs now I thought it best to get to know them a bit more before I went out with them. The longer you have them I feel they need days out in the field. We have been walking them quite a lot to improve their fitness. The older bitch may scent something but the younger dog I am not sure about. I am in Undy between Newport and Chepstow, so if you are still up for a day out that would be good. Reagrds John good idea.. at least they will come back when u call them lol

  18. even with in patterdale bloodlines or types there is difference in characteristic ..sooo the ones i had before totally different to the ones i have one.. almost different breed lol in terms of character, or how they act
