    best a luck to him an his dogs, i spoke to him a good few times, i sent him pigeons down i know 3 pups he bred were gifted to lads i know, but none a them made anything of themselfs, were actually below average i hear... like i sad, best a luck to him an the rest of the pups, even tho we dont hear of the wonder blackwaters dogs anymore

    thats cause rspca took that fellers dogs..........moral of story dont post piccys a ye dogs on net took his dogs aint an excuse, i know its a sad un, but there was a few litters on the deck, seasons here an no mention of them anymore

    i use a horse rug on barbed wire when im teaching pups to jump nought wrong with that red but a bet thee onna carrying it round for yrs on end , ha ha ha . atb bunnys. na it on farm where i train pups, fence is next to stables so it makes sense, stock breaking lesson an a jumping less, all rolled into 1 with a retreive lesson blanket only gets used once or twice, till i see they are clearing it, if not i add more height, it usually takes a sore un for em to learn the lesson proper i think

    pups need 1 on 1 when entering, gettin them out way older dogs is fine, but 1 on 1 is best i think

    iv jhad a lot of gear because my dogs jump, i understand some dont want them to, but where i am i need a dog that can jump an jump well, i never had a dog that wouldnt jum with a bit of encouragement, some are earlier than other tho, an some are just pure naturals, an as always some are shit

    1st time i met a guy we went ferreting, an he had a jill, no smaller than mine but thinner, anyways we were bolting to the dogs an doing a big warren in middle of a big field, was perfect for pups if im honest, so we had a few bolters an my 3/4 grey 1/4 collie had a few an the guys young lurcher had a few, an 1 bolts out a hole right on the outskirts of the warren, my colliegrey sprints over hits the bunny with everything he got, stood up an started trotting back an relised he had a ferret and a bunny in his gob, he spat it out an walked away from us, i think he thought he was gonna get scold

    i dont mind havin to dig mate if they move they move thats just life, some times the hobs drag a bunny away an ye have to dig twice, like ye say nowts perfect its not robots we using

    im thinking of adding a smaller ferret to my team, but im thinking itll not make the grade, little or not, if its leaving bunnys in a warren it wont be what i want

    well thats your choice plenty off dog ferrets that work like jills all day with not go out having to keep diggin to em im sorry to say not my choice to work. only add em 35 years so still learning by the looks of it happy diggin if ye been at 35 years then surely ye know tha not all jills or dogs(hobs) are the same pal, all workers bolt bunnys tho, what seperates you an i, is you are willing to leave bunnys in burrows, wel im sorry, but thats just not good enuff for me, magine telling a farmer you have just cleared a warren, an minutes later a bunnys pops out haha, i know a farmer that

    aye mate, not wanna blow me own trumpet but i got a collie doing what i expected of it, its put a few bunnys in the web, but like you say its not been a great season, i dare not try the lurchers i own just now, they are too driven.. i doubt this collie would be the legend some would expect, but he does what i want
