Socks i had wild hob, 20 years ago. Was the devil to get right but i did it... eventually, though he was usless as a worker. Bred me and a few mates some fantastic kits though but not handle them for a day or so and they were as wild as daddy. Fantastic grafters though.
Thing is, that hob you got there is a cracker, in fine fettle. Dont matter who gets him, to be caged up would be a damn shame IMO.
Let wild things be wild, find a speck for him and let him go...
i agree FT

im after a working ferret, but obviously this not for me ....... atb FT

Just don't take a screwdriver to anything screw-shaped on your scope foxtails.
The dials work by fingertip control. The top = elevation turret dials work in commonsense ways. That is, if your shot hits say, Higher up and left of your intended zero centre, you need to wind down the top turret dial till your shot is directly left of the zero-target on paralell with it. Usually turn it to left or anti-clockwise to move the reticle down to where you need it to be.
Then, you need to to turn the windage dial LEFT in order to move it TO THE RIGHT in order for the cross-hairs or reticle to move your shot bang on the centre of your zero.
Sorry if I'm stating what may be obvious to you now, but, I get the distinct impression you are really not that familiar with how scopes operate?
You'll soon get used to zeroing with practice,
thankyou, i havent been around scopes for quite a while, the scopes are from china, but the Seller is in england, but on the instructions the say ,at the top then underneath ( upper hand wheel) underneath that ( left hand wheel) there is no left hand wheel, theres one on the right and one at the top of scope, but then it says left up the next to that it says left down ! then next to that right up, next to that - right down, and underneath anti clochwise and clockwise under all of them, its a bit confusing, but i think im there now, someone explained the top one is for up an down, the one on the side is for left and right so thanks to every who has helped me, the scopes were only cheap £20 odd quid, a bargain from £38 ! im only 2" out so i think ill be ok from here, cheers ATB FT

The adjuster on top is for elevation and the one on the right is for windage (l-r)
Get the elevation right first then start tinkering with the windage.
THANKS FT
-
Hope you didn't take that the wrong way ft..what does the wheel on top and the wheel on the right say?
Atb steg
1 click 0 1/4"100yards the wheel on the right says 1 click 0 1/4"100yd FT

before you start trying to sight it in ft make sure your mounts are seated properly and the spacing/gaps around the scope clamp are all balanced/the same!
atb si
the instuctions iv got i cant understand, its got upper wheel, then left hand wheel ( there is no left hand wheel only a right hand wheel) but anyway the way the instructions are writen is completly non understandable ! i just wish i had my phone lead to take a pic to show you all, no wonder why i cant get it, im within a couple inches to the right and inch to the left, ill be spot on then ! FT

It's the whole "click" thing you turn. They are normally 1/4 moa which is 1 click for 1/4" at 100 yards, so 4 clicks for one inch.
I assume you are shooting nearer than that, so say at 25 yards, you would need to adjust it by 16 clicks for one inch.
16 clicks for 1 inch, thanks thats what i need to hear, i thought i was clicking too many times, i was aiming at 30 yards,

iv been trying to hit a target 30 yards away, ill have to get a pic up, but its a weihrauch hw90 theoben gas ram, with 3-9x56 scopes
