  1. Tomo if you get a lucas 130 watt bulb for that lamp, the change is brilliant, pure white, and a nice tight spot, i had 1, and for about £6 its well worth it...
  2. I was not refering to everybody,s dogs or bitches, i was talking about within my own.
  3. What do you prefer ? Dog or Bitch, and why.. I have had both, and if i ever got another Lurcher, i would get a bitch,I have two dogs one is 3 and a half, the younger being 15 months, i just found in my bitches that they seemed more loyal, easier to train, mature quicker. my bitches also, i found, seemed more tuned. I am not knocking Dogs, as i have two my self, but any future Lurcher, then i would definately choose a bitch.
  4. ile second that, i had it happen to mine, a 3 quater whippet bedlington that i wanted for lamping, fecking broke my heart, as above, went to a family as a pet in the end, trust me this one yapped its head off..
  5. I remember an old bitch i had called Bonny, we was out lamping one night back in the very early ,s,we were having a few runs and catching a few rabbits. I slipped her on this one paticular rabbit, and it headed straight towards a fallen oak, i thought just keep the lamp on, the rabbit run under and out the other side, and how she never ran into it, i don,t know, she jumped the tree and caught the rabbit. I can honestly say, i sh#t myself in that split second, it was amazing to see the end result but a memory that has always stayed with me..

  8. Moderator, could we have a poll on this please.
  9. Are you fed up, like me, year in year out, of being lied to by politicians at election times, that promise us, to do things for the better for us and our country, no matter what political party wins the election, its a load of old BULLOCKS, they (never ever) do what they promised they would do, and everything that they do end up doing, is always for the worse. Remember, they work for us, they are NOT our masters. Just think for a moment, look at the state of our once great country, and Great Britain as a whole, these b*****ds have dragged us down to what it is today, and you
  10. when this shit really does kick off, feck me,we best be ready to protect our family,s and friends, and have a plan of action put in place, their is so much anger out there,20 plus years,of fec having to put up with LAB /CON , governments unwilling to act in our favor,so when we do get wound up about this shit,we get called RACISTS, a word designe,d to shut us all up. we should place any future shit bag government on a CONTRACT, so they are made to do what they say they would because no matter who you vote for their is a very powerful family that really pull the strings, no matter who get

  16. Mooney, My eldest 1 was like that, and the younger 1 has totally blanked me before, just running off as if im not their, and it became an habit of me getting hot headed,, i found that looking back and weighing up the whole picture to see not only my dogs faults, but also mine.. All dogs need correcting sometimes, but keep it to a calm correction especially when the dog has Salukie blood,, you watch as they get to a certain age, the penny drops, good luck.
  17. I have 2 saluki whippet greyhounds, and the younger one seems a bit shy his 15 months, and the elder one is 3 an half, and he is stable as any thing. A lot of people are weary of the saluki cross as in them being a bit deaf when called, although i believe my self, it is an age thing with this cross, because my older 1 of the two was jittery up untill about 18 months old, but i could not ask for a more understanding dog,in both work and obedience. I believe also to be calm round this type of cross, as in if you are a hot head, as we can all be sometimes, ive noticed that this cross are a lot
  18. How much would that cluson lithium battery cost on its own nomally then..
  19. Do you remember the late 1970s, early 80s, when the fields were full of rabbits. I remember lamping back then, you could quite litteraly pick your squatters, because more than a few would squat per field in those days, and quite big bags were the norm, not that high numbers mattered, it was about seeing your fine tuned lurcher at full flight, and using its brains to outwit the fleeing bunny, to put in to the bag. I also take my hat off to the humble rabbit because no matter what man, or nature throws at it, they always make a recovery, although in recent years their numbers have been
