  1. I must admit ive never had deer but that would be my idea of the best quarry, just because of its size and strength its quite an achievement for a dog to bring down. other than that a whippet on a bolt whole with the ferret
  2. Must be a healthy dog to heal so quick! if he's gonna be ready to work this season? hell of a result! Nice to see you got him some quality treatment, goodluck with rehab (make sure he goes, look what happened to amy - too soon?) atb rocky
  3. I think he's saying he didnt know the horse was there before the dog went through the hedge.... What a horrible experience, sad thing is you cant even vent your anger on the horse as its just a pawn really atb
  4. Hi eveyone, im kev from devon (bere alston) by plymouth, im 23 got a 5 month old greyhound/collie x greyhound/whippet called coda (very keen). Just feeling my way around the forum and trying to get some tips on raising her to course and technique in doing so. She's fetching a tennis ball thrown as hard as i can pretty well and can jump about 4 ft fence. ive had her chasing a multiplyer lure machine with plastic bag on as a bit of fun (nothin to strenuios) any tips greatly recieved. tried to upload some photos but there to big?
  5. Ive just got myself a grey/collie x grey/whippet, theyve got pretty good pads and there easy to train imo
  6. Hi guys im a new member so take it easy on me Just wondering how many of you give your workin dogs a raw meat diet bones and all? i hear people say there dog runs poorly on biscuits, any of you noticed an improvement by changing the diet?
