  1. my girlfriends dad runs a rough shoot over at raf portreath, and thats a formal dress code. ive just obtained a tweed flat cap, moleskin trousers, shirt, jumper, tie etc as to fit in, and at the moment, im only a beater! its more tradition than anything. and as for semi-autos..... if i wanted to rock up with one on that shoot, it wouldnt be too much of a problem, however, it would be seen as very un-sportsmen like to be using a 3 shot gun, when everyone else only has 2 shots available....... other than that though, its pretty much anything go's, lol.
  2. it takes real balls to come on a public forum and apologise, and credit where its due, you did mr mole. bad deals happen all the time, and people will always voice their opinions. its life. ive got nothing against bond guns, and if i still owned an air arms, they would be the only place i would use......... what more can he do than apologise? we are all grown ups here, lets keep things amicable. if an apology isnt good enough then both parties turn round and walk away. just my opinion......
  3. take a look here buddy....http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/private-sales-airguns-related-items/119475-new-beech-lightning-xl-stock.html
  4. Hi everyone, im after a bit of help if possible. Just been granted my fac and sgc, and have just purchased my first shotgun! It was advertised as silma supreme deluxe, but on closer inspection it seems to be the supreme deluxe sporter with multi choke. Does anyone know where i can get a choke key for this gun? And where can spares be obtained for it as the fore end wood isnt originall so would like to get a new one that matches the colour of the rear woodwork. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. Brett
  5. hi all! looking to swap my bsa lightning for a 12g over and under, not too fussed on make as long as its in good condition. the lightning was serviced about 6 months ago and has had less than 200 pellets put through it since then. its got standard factory silencer in matt black, and has been fitted into te later style chequered stock. comes fitted with a red dor sight as ive been using it for ratting. let me now if you've got anything. regards, brett
  6. i would be interetsed in the lincoln if you could rfd? brett
  7. ive got an air arms s410 that im thinking about selling..... pre anti-tamper, in .177. comes with sling, 3-9 x 50 ao ir nikko sterling scope with sunshade, fleece lined bag, 1 magazine and weirauch silencer. it has some slight pitting to the barrell and cylinder, but nothing bad. i priced up a new cylinder at £33 delivered, just havent got round to sorting it yet. ive also got a full seal kit and new bolt set for it. chrono'd at 11.4 ftlbs with air arms fields. i can email you some pics if your interested. im looking for about £450 for it. brett p.s. forgot to mention, im travelli
  8. hi everyone, as the title states really, i have got a sony mini hifi system, and a sony digi cam (dsc-w150) both brand new in the box's that i would like to swap for a half decent, reliable over and under shotgun, preferably in 12g. not too fussed on make, or ejection status, as long as its tidy and works well. i am based in cornwall, so somewhere local'ish would be great. will add pics of the hifi and camera so that you know what they look like. let me know if you have anything that you might be interested in swapping. regards, brett
  9. Yeah mate, no worries. Whats your email address? Ill send pics of both guns for you. Regards, brett
  10. You would definatley need to be closer than you would with a powder burner mate, id say general range with a .22 would be 30-35 yards, maybe a little more. With a .177 you could probably push out to 45-50 yards depending on conditions. I use a .177 for rabbit control at my local golf course and it works well. Ive got a parker hale striker here aswell. Basically the same as the lightning, very nice finish to it. And its in .177. Would take £160 posted for that without the dot sight if thats of any interest. Regards, brett
  11. If you would post these i would be very interested in them! Let me know if you could do that, and what the costs would be. Regards, brett
  12. hi all, selling up my spring guns and this is one of my favourites. its a parker hale striker in .177 guise. comes fitted with a red dot sight as ive been using it for rabbits and rats at close range. it really is in as new condition, the woodwork is great and the blueing is superb! much better looking than some bsa variants i have owned. i paid just over £220 for this just over 12 months ago but the scope that was on it was fubar so replaced it with a red dot sight. it is the top one of the 2 rifles in the pics. the other is a bsa lightning .22 which is also for sale for £190
  13. are you after a powder burner or air rifle? if its an air rifle your after, ive got a .22 bsa lightning thats fitted with a red dot sight that ive been using for rabbiting and ratting. would let it go for £190 including postage. can forward pics at your request. regards, brett
