    Hi guys, there's a lady not far from me got a white x sandy Jill. She's four years old and has been spayed. She says she's very friendly. She wants £10 for her but I'm pretty sure she would give it away for free to a good home. The Jill comes with cage, carry cage, litter tray and toys. I think the reason or sale is that she us moving away and can't take it with her. I just wanted to post it here so somebody could give the old girl a decent home. Pm me for phone number. Atb

    Will do mate, it's a dear do like when I'm getting 3 done. I will have to get them done different months because of the costs. I haven't asked yet but do you think they would do it cheaper I'd I got all three done at once? More money in their pockets or a simple op?

    Mac- I'm not after ferrets mate, my hands are full atm. It wasn't you that said they were dodgy, there's a post somewhere about 2 pregnant jills and a hob being on sale on gumtree and the guys have posted saying that there's something not right with these guys. I'm not too sure, look for the thread. Just wanted to know if anybody knew if it was going to be a waste if time going that's all mate

    Hiya all. I'm new to this forum. Had a few ferrets years back nothing much. Just got 3 young kits- one 15 wks which I've had for about a month and two 9wks which I've had for just over a week. Getting to know them now, looking to get back into ferreting. I'm new to the area so if there's anyone around here( or can travel) that's going out I would live to tag along. Just want to learn. Wouldn't mind going out with someone for a bit of air rifle shooting over the summer for some fur/feather for my ferrets. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    I'm not after ferrets mate, I've got enough lol I think you read that wrong. I just want to go to the show to have a look at what it's all about as I've not been to one before. But read a thread that the people running it are dodgy, not too sure why.

    Brilliant. Spoke to the vet to price it up- £76 each!!!!! Gonna cost a bomb. Apparently they're classed as 'exotic. Pets' bollocks. How can one vets charge £35 and others charge ridiculous money?

    They stay together so I want them castrated so I don't have to separate them when they come into season. I've got a triple hutch so it's easy enough to separate but I want make the triple into one big hitch for all three of them. Plus it will stop them smelling like a bucket of stale piss lol There's loads of people I know that have versectomised hob that will let them be used for free. I wouldnt charge for helping someone out. They might help me out back one day. Castrated is the option for me buddy

    I've got 3 hob kits and was just thinking about getting them castrated. I know I will have to wait a while obviously but are they still good workers if they've not got their balls? I read an article on the net and someone said that a job loses it's hunting instinct with no balls. Similar theory to when you get a dog castrated it's mean to calm him down. If I get mine done will they still work aswell as an un- neutered equivalent. Thanks

    Hi everyone. I seen an advert on gumtree and in the ad trader advertising this ferret show in Alva on June 4th. I was thinking about going for a wee look but I seen a thread somewhere saying that the people running it are dodgy? I'm not sure why, something to do with advertising ferrets that aren't available etc? Anyway i don't know but does anybody know if it's worth going or is it a sham? Any help would be appreciated as it's an hour drive away ad I don't wanna waste my time. Atb lee

    I don't know about England but up here in Scotland everything for sale goes on gumtree. It's brilliant. I sold 3 hutches in 3 days and I got the phonecalls about an hour after I put the ad on! Gumtree is the way like
