    Well....decided after a long discussion with my partner to get another dog. the whippet is doing fine but something tells me the bad legs (after 2 breaks) are going to give her problems for the rest of her life. plus ive got the missus nagging in my ear that shes not cut out for it the wee whippet was loving the lure, the racing and enjoys getting in about it but her legs get lumps where her break was and its tender for days afterwards.     They kurgo zip lines look ok if you've just got one dog. I've got 3 and they would wrap themselves up. A piece of rope with a lead on it would do the same. Plus 3 dogs pulling at that would rip it out. Thanks for the help though. I looked at the tailgate guards. Pretty expensive. Think me and RM will have a pop at one ourselves. Can't be that hard....... Can it?

    anybody know where you can get a guard for the rear of the boot. I'm not on about the dog guard that goes behind the seats, I'm talking about the ones that go at the boots door so you can open it and keep the dogs in? I've seen them in people's cars with a door in them? I've got an astra estate and took the dog cage out the back as I've just acquired another dog. I've gave them the whole boot but it's a hassle trying to keep them in when I open the boot. I don't have an idea what they're called officially or where to start. Cheers

    Sad news that my old german shepherd has had to be PTS. the only thing certain in life is that one day we will die (and the taxman). he was only 8 years old, too big for his own good and his back legs had given in. final straw was when we found him p!ss wet through after lying in the rain all night because he couldnt get up the few steps to his kennel. the other dog is a german shepherd who after being a 'guard' dog all her life is now quiet and withdrawn and is staying in the house. couple of pics from when he was in his prime. he was the first dog that i could call my own. RI
