    Well It was an exciting and very interesting week end.The Idea was to meet some new shoot owners and do a bit of shooting into the bargain. We ,that is My wife Susan and my host david left for France at 10.00am GMT and headed for the shuttle. After a quick and restful crossing I then drove down Towards Reilly north of Paris. The countryside is wonderful in that part of france. After a short break we went to Davids Mothers and step fathers for dinner in the farm house.     It is a difficult time but we are expanding into courses and although the general situation is poor at the moment shooting and stalking seen to be just jogging along ok. A couple more years and those who are still there will be doing well I believe.

    We have decided to offer stalking courses for beginers and intermediate stalkers. These have been well received and we are offering limited spaces.     Well a very good evening as it happens , good to get away for an hour or 2 . Had a good laugh with the boys.     Well done John looks like your having some fun. Called in 2 roe bucks last week with my Daughter and Niece with me, shot the cull. Had watched 7 Roe some with kids. Priceless.     why do people like you keep ferrets when you havent the first clue about them your jills in season you muppet I have known Rob for years and Muppet is not a word I would use to discribe him. Not only that but he does know what a ferret in season looks like. Yes it is an infection.     I bought a 2e when I started keeping over 25 years ago. I still have it and apart from one visit to the gunsmith with a worn extractor claw it has never been any trouble It has a bolt that looks as strong as my rem.700 and is in first class condition. I believe they are the gamekeepers working rifle. I have seen one shortened and I can understand that if you intend to fit a moderator. Mine is as I bought it and it and I still have the cabinate that I got at the time as with the mod I could not get it in anything else.     Hello all First time I have looked at the air gun bit as I dont really use them for sport and shoot full bore and Shotgun as a part of my job. However there are different tools for differant jobs and I have 2 air rifles that I use for work when needed. One is an airarms 410 in .22 and the other an logun axhor in 177. Two questions Firstly I need to get hold of a couple of spare rotory mags for the Logun. are they available new and where might I find them? if not where would I find them second hand?     Yes but I understood that after the first castthey sort of align with each other so that by their second year they shed at about the same time and grow at the same time. I was reading the other day that they should still be in velvet yet someone I was speaking to also reckoned that they had quite a veriation between areas. The thing is that I have never noticed them here this late and the strange thing is that on other parts of the estate, according to my underkeeper, they are all in hard antler.
