Yeah,Ive tryed that, well one of the places is an agriculture college where i use to go when i left school, shit lots of land there, but just dont know who im meant to ask.. -
Has anyone got any info on how or where I can get permission for ferreting around lincoln, ive seen a couple of decent areas wheres theresl oads of rabbits, but just no1 to ask... Dont really want poach as i'll be in shit if i get court. Thanks MTT.

Bought some nets now and had ago at building my own ferret box. -
you want at least two, so they can keep each other company and they like to play with each other. (Not in the rude way) lol I feed mine on a good diet of proper ferret biscults and roar meat, chicken wings & legs. also give them an egg now and again. I keep mine in a 3 tier hutch that I made. this is when i first built it, looks a bit tatty now tho. lol MTT.

Ive noticed with japanese quail if you put so many cock birds together they all run after each other trying to bang each others backside. ha and that foamy crap goes all over. lol

Im liking your setup millet, I use to breed jumbo coturnix quail. there the most easy quail to rear and you can sex them in 3 weeks. only takes around 6 weeks and there laying and ready to breed. and there eggs are great, if you get enough sell them to your local butchers. Thats what I use to do. and i use to fatten the odd cock birds up for the table. Good little bussiness to be in if you can sell your eggs and the odd surpless cock birds. I use to sell so many young cock birds to a chap who bred birds of prey. and like gnipper says get yourself some warren hens there fairly cheap and lay li

This will be my first time at breeding ferrets.. From what ive been reading and hearing, if you dont breed a ferret jill whats in season, she can die or get really ill. Im putting a pair together hob & jill. lets say hob is fertile and jill gets pregnant and has kits, would she need to be bred again at a later date when she comes back into season or would she be okay or would i need some sorta jap from vets. also if the hob was albino (red eyes) and a silver jill what colour offspring will they be? thanks.
