  16. Surely you could ask a similar question about the collie but advantages could be good feet and a thicker set leg, temperment, brains and obviously retrieving abilities would be good... A good nose in anyone hunting up could be a serious advantage... i here you mate BUT maybe be to much nose for lamping etc for a general mooching/bushing dog then yes id say they be top of their game, but as alrounders No nose, no lurcher, it's as simple as that.
