mate im not spending £300 odd on gear i dont need!!!! that lamps had alot of runs in its beam all over the country and never lets me down........... lamping is going down fishings route where imo where as if you dont have all the latest kit you dont look the part!!!! but then again i am a tight kunt.............

Aye your right I am on another planet cause I'm the one who gets to say who does and who doesn't pick up here and fact is when we shot 60 days a year I never had call to look for picker ups they came to me and even with 480 places a year to fill (8 picker ups per day for 60 days) I still turned folks away any work for a chainsaw operative........... The boss has had 2 biomass boilers fitted just need some one to cut down some trees shame you don't have a better track record when it comes to reliability though :D :D :D :D you no me well......... in all seriousnesstho m

i buy a chainsaw, i enjoy using it and have many days enjoyment out of it in the countryside, should i start using it for £30 a day when the person im using it for is making thousands...........

lol tbh the battery is the main weight at about 8kg!!! how much are the lithiums??? in weight next to nothing, i got mine for fifty notes brand new but the old style without the fuel gauge, the whole lot including the gerber and 170 with lithium is less than 2lb in weight just looked them up and they are about 150 now!!! i wouldnt spend that just to save 9 kilos........

was just wondering what you take out with and how much it cost......i take the obvious lamp and battery..... but also in my bag i have a small hacksaw and pair of pliers for any barbed wire accidents, f*****g stuff should be banned..... , spare chocolate box connecters, screwdriver and tape incase of any wiring issues....... and then incase something happened to me i take a glow stick, whistle and waterproof clothing!! then i have my gutting knife in a sheath on my belt.............. on my bag ive threaded copper wire round he mouth so its easier to drop rabbits in....... a
