Ferrets are easily trained if you have an experienced ferret to show it the ropes. I like the cut of your jib, your alright mate. Ignore the idiots on here but you clearly aren't stupid so you'll do fine. All the best mate

When did you start mate and why? i started about 3 years go,well that is when i became intrested in hunting and got my first dog,a pat she seen some diggin but just a busher now...what i did not no then is how hard it is to get land and to find work for them how did i get in to it.........i have no clue there was just something there in me to get in to hunting...not got a ancer for that 1, but now i have a bull x and al take it from here.. Get yourself a ferret mate, ask for ferreting and once you've been on the ground for a while(6 months or so) and the farmer can trust you, tell

Those ones aren't real dogmen mate, I know the type you are talking about and I know the type of dog that they are attracted to too. ,although the real dog men in that chosen field cannot be associated with the neds Thats true benny, I know a good few real dogmen in that field as well. Just curious as to how many folk on here have took up lurchers since the ban came into force? I mean folk who weren't into it before the ban but are new to the game. You have my admiration cos I'm not sure I would have if I were in your shoes.... So please tell me if you have and why?

I agree with you, working stock all the way. No guarantees there either though but its the best you can do. Unproven is just that, unproven but what I mean was, just cos a dog has a good pup once, doesn't mean it will produce another so I wouldn't blame the breeding. It's a complicated business and why folk pay top dollars for a pup even from a name is beyond me.
