  4. Think I've got a couple of pic of one of my dogs with a big ears he'd caught, regarding catch rate, I've never gone out to get big catches, could never see the point in carting a boat load around with me on land I shouldn't be on, and don't forget, when I was going out mooching when I was younger we couldn't afford a camera, and there was no internet to put big catches on to try and impress naive young lads and lasses.
  5. my mate m.b from manchester had a bitch spit of that but black, called rose.she came from the late george kelly out of two whippet grews. Knew George Kelly well, he had a black whippet greyhound called Ben, George used to breed whippet bedlingtons, he lived in the Brownhills area just off the A5 in the midlands. That grew Ben was abit special at racing, they were betting money at the midland game fare in the 80s that Ben would win the racing, but I beat it with a bitch called Sally

  20. Hi Shazza, cracking looking pup you've got there, hope it turns out to be all you are expecting and more and good luck. There was bull terrier put into grews years ago, and every now and then you can get a throw back, I'll sort a picture out of one of ours.
  21. Our grews go out mooching most days and never stop working from start to finish, like other crosses some make top class lampers and ferreting dogs, it depends on how they are brought up and on the person brining them up. Regarding brains, most of ours have been smart arses, and are as brave as lions and give 110%. The only down side is, some can be to fast for their own good at times, and with speed comes toe trouble if there ran on the wrong terrain. My old dog Jack didn't have any problems with his feet until he was 6 yrs old, 3 injured toes that have calloused up and a snapped tendon which
  22. This Blade a first cross greyhound bedlington belonging to Shaun (POPPS)
