  1. You mean they do terrier trials/earthdog trials in England tb25? I've taken a look at some US sites, they do earhdog trials in plywood tunnels. Aparently there is no need to bury the tunnels as the are just a dark inside buried or not. They make 6' lengths, corners, t pieces and prey cages, and hook them together to make different tunnel layouts. They stick live prey in the cages for realism. The tunnels sound pretty portable and just the thing for shows!
  2. Thanks Cobra, I can't wait for it to arrive! Should be here this week!
  3. Hi Gem, How does it work? With a lure following an oval course, or with the lure zig-zagging around a field? Is there scent on the lure or do they chase it by eye? I'd really like the detail as I'd like to try Hoover, my Jack Russell, at it. Clive.
  4. Is there such a thing as terrier racing or terrier trials? I'm sure I've heard of terrier trials but it may be an American thing. I remember my uncle racing his terrier in a local fair in Snainton when I was a kid. The dogs chased a lure around a field.
  5. Ah ha, worked out how to insert photo's so here's another one;
  6. Sorry JRTCGB Linky. For some reason I thought there was a W for Working on the front. Don't know where I got that from, must be going nuts. Didn't ask the line, suppose I should have, both parents were show champions but I went by look and character when I chose him. He was the pup with the most energy, alert and inqusitive, good physique and wire coat.
  7. Hi All, Thanks for the warm welcome! Being ex Army the Stealth appealed. I like the simple utilitarian design, purposeful, with no frills. Not everyone's cuppa but certainly looked good to me but we'll see! Proof of the puddin' and all that!
  8. Hi All, Thanks for the posts. He's a JRTCGB standard dog from a reputable breeder. He's already showing signs of hunting instincts whenever there are squirrels about and gives them a good run for their money. Of course they take to the trees so he's unlikely to catch any. I'll insert a photo as soon as I can work out how to do it, in the mean time I've attached one.
  9. Anyone on the forum in or around Iver or the M4/M40 corridor? I'd be really interested in any opportunities for airgunning, offroading (maybe support driving for hunts etc.) ,or training my terrier to hunt!

  11. Hello All, I run a Disco II with variable nozzle turbo, big intercooler, remap and 3" exhaust. Am fitting dual EGT/Boost gauge as we speak. Future plans to fit discreet winch and other bits and pieces. Any fellow Disco II fans on here? Anyone on the forum in or around Iver or the M4/M40 corridor? I'd be really interested in any opportunities for airgunning, offroading (maybe support driving for hunts etc.) ,or training my terrier to hunt! Clive.
  12. Hello All, I've just found and joined the forum. I have a 6 month old working Jack Russell which I'd like to bring on,... have you any advice on training him to hunt? Anyone on the forum in or around Iver or the M4/M40 corridor? I'd be really interested in any opportunities for airgunning, offroading or training my terrier to hunt! Clive.
  13. Hello All, I happened across a link to this forum when ordering a Gunpower Stealth .22 which I've bought to teach my youngest to shoot and perhaps to do some rabbiting. Should be picking it up from my local gun dealer any time soon! Comes with Hawk MAP sight, Stealth silencer, bipod, sling and case. Also go an air tank coming for re-charging. Anyone got got any experience, advice on the Stealth? Any of you in or around Iver or the M4/M40 corridor? I'd be really interested in any opportunities for airgunning, offroading or training my terrier to hunt! Clive.

I run a Disco II with variable nozzle turbo, big intercooler, remap and 3" exhaust and I have a 6 month old working Jack Russell which I'd like to bring on,... and the forum covers all three interests! Fantastic!! Also shot skeet, trap, duck, goose, pigeon and quail as a youngster so might be interested in taking shooting up again. Also did small bore and large bore in the Army, Bisley etc. Anyone on the forum in or around Iver or the M4/M40 corridor?
