    after losing one of my albino's the other got a bit depressed and went off his food for a bit and became a bit faddy on what he would eat so after some steady persuation with egg and meat ball's he is back to full strength. Not only that my locator has been playing up plus the bad weather so he's not been worked for a while. So we are all sorted today and decided to go do a couple of hours on my permision. the permision is vast and will keep me busy for a long time there is an enbankment in the middle of a few fields were the holes are endless. so i decided to just do a small part right at the

    my ferret has been out of sorce lateley with its partner doing a runner and getting a bit depressed so he's been of his food and looking a little less weighty, so i have been giving him a bit of milk in the evening and the odd pigeon along with his dried ferret food and don't worry i will be popping along to the ferret rescue for him a mate.... so to finish what extra treat's do you give to your ferrets or if you rescue them what do you give them to gain weight ?

    you just have to keep changing them over bud ever that or put a sock over them or wrap em in cotton wool... good luck Even Wrapping them up in socks dont work, the tip just freezes so no water comes out. I find having two water bottles makes it easier and less hassle. Royal were you based about? i'm out now pal i live on the humber, there is a thread on here with all different tips to stop water freezing but the best thing is to just change them morning and night

    just wondered if anyone had made adjustments to hutches etc for the winter period, as i decided to fill the whole sleeping quaters of the hutch with hay and put the cover on and changed the water as regular as every morning due to icing, have you added any extra comfort to your ferrets over the winter if so what are they???

    i got a wierauch silencer for my bsa multi had 1st wood pigeon yesterday with it sweet, some lowa mountian boots and a nice hunting knife with the barbed end for skinning worth about £50 happy days
