    and that is the right way of going about it SAME HERE GET ALL MY DOGS FROM A YOUNG DOWN THE SCHOOL IN THE YARD WITH THE KIDS SOCIALISING GET USED 2 ALL THE NOISES ,YOU DON,T JUST HAVE STOCKTRAIN A DOG ,YOU HAVE STOCKTRAIN THEM 2 KIDS ASWELL I WOULD SAY THIS SHOULD COME BEFORE LIVESTOCK

    you say you are an experienced coursing man but yet you didn't condone running an 11 month old SAPLING on any type of hare corse... this age of dog shouldn't be let loose in an area where hare is present for fear they will follow one and chances are will end up causing irreversible damage to vital organs. crazy.... instead you state that this person wasn't supposed to know the course was going to be as long..... again this dog shouldn't have been off the lead..who can ever guarentee how long or short a course will will be once a hare has ground under him i agree...... reguardless its total lac

    Beat me to it Rocky1....As said two dogs on 1 hare should realy be done with one way or another inside 5 mins.If its taking the old dog that long doubled up I would suggest the pup would be better running on his own.Don't get me wrong the best of dogs can take this long to get the job done on the right quarry and the right day but this is single handed not doubled up. Just my opinion but recon you would be better off resting your pup right up and then taking things a bit slower and with either a better lead dog or on his own as others have said. ATB

    tell your mate he is a tw.t for running the arse of a young dog , give the pup pleanty of rest and get it on some easy rabbits and hope it hasnt f..cked it confidence and its lungs !!

    9/10 times a experience dog should have done the buisness in 5 minutes ,so next time run with a better dog then will have less chance of jacking

    THEY WERE COURSING A HARE well it knows what 2 down the when tough gets going ,far 2 young ,i,ve read somewear that a dogs lungs are even fully development till 16 /18 months and long hard runs can damage them and scar them for life ,just my opion i sure the longdogs men will clear this up for you

    my mates dog pulled up yesterday in stinger of a race? do you mean the dogs were raceing about or in a race ,a 5 mins race ,eitherway that is along time for a pup 2 be running ,i would,nt say give up on the dog just lay off it and remeber the dogs doing it for fun and at moment before it relizes whats reqired of it next season and jackers are usually bred trough dogs

    i also learn,t by my mistakes ,got ahalf x years ago when i just started out and it was a nightmare it was well bred dog ,just it was me i was,nt experence enough 2 handler a dog of this calibar ,it just one thing on its mind at all time ,this did not have reverse gear did,nt have no brakes aswell lol nealy killed himself a few times out in the field ,so i give him back 2 the lad i got him off ,not before i tried everything i could at the time and he went 2 the lakes and he turned out 2 be good dog with experience handler ,and now a good few years later i,ve ended up with same type of dog BUT

    Nice dog, have you noticed her pace dropping or is she still keeping up with the younger dogs? she has lost alittle bit ,but uses her fieldcraft now,like this last season shes been working the beam different somthing she done of her own back and its working a treat

    fcuking belter that mate ,all that show poney ,i,ve seen him fight after that 1 and their was none none that danceing about ,i,m sure he a taxi driver aswell ,so he,ll get lot of stick when the drunks come out of night clubs and jumps into he taxi
