    is it just me that has a mrs that is thick???? i asked her to get me some new boots while she was in town,she knows damn well what kind i wanted as she has bougt me some before. but as usuall reminded her DONT GET RIGGER BOOTS. fooook me what does she get??? rigger boots.. then tells me there not riggers as they dont say it on the side

    hello gaz. as you no mate i have a litter sister to your pup and i thought about this the other day lol was thinking along the beddy/whippet line to take a little of the height out but this is just my preference for what i will be working. how is the training going mate? hope its getting there atb mart

    thanks for the help people...... she is ok now shes up and playing around as normal temperature is normal and gums etc look pink and healthy so lets just hope she dosnt do it again.

    ive just rang the vet and he says as long as shes dry and shivering and keeping alert she should be ok as long as she dosnt get to warm to quick Great news, she will obviously need totally spoiling for the next week at least as well! My bitch is a water freak, just this morning she broke the ice on the lake to get in, she loves it! The nutter! well lets just say im not going in the lake again because god damn things shrink quick ... but she is getting all the fuss and cuddles any dog could ask for off the mrs and all im getting is ear ache because ive lost the bloody do

    i cant advise you on the dog in shock other than get it to a vets if your worried or the dog gets worse the slipping of its collar i can .. get a longer canvas lead & noose it round the dogs neck while its clipped to the collar .. its saved my bitches life more than once :thumbs: she seems to okat the minute but i got my eye on her and ready for a quick drve to the vet...... she has never ever done this before shes not even a working dog im just glad she is a solid built dog and even more glad it wasnt my 3 month old pup

    hi all ive just had my dogs out for there evening walk and my dog slipped its collar and ran off after a cat.... long story short she ended up in a semi frozen lake by the time i got to her she was "BLUE" so to speak so i quickly wrapped her up in my coat and got her home she seems ok now ive dried her and warmed her up but is a little pale, she seems to be ok and alert as normal but could shock etc still set in??????? what do i need to be looking out for?

    sorry to hear that mate. a mate of mine had the same thing happen to his bitch a few years back she was a little older than yours but aftre a good long rest up she still made a cracking ferreting dog and would run well but to be fair he didnt really push her to hard. i suppose it depends on the dog and how you let her rest up before letting her run on it when its heald.. good luck and hope the dog is ok

    there is a clue in your question bud best time is when its dark i find mate sorry couldent resist mate lamp and heres me thinking you can use the lamp in the day with a red or blue filter so you could see the beam easier

    the only way you will find out is by gettin your boots on and having look around at different times.as im pretty sure your dog would love to be out and about looking rather than waiting around for some one to answer a silly question on the internet

    lol mines the same with the jumping and subberness.... and she can turn like ive never seen a dog turn when she runs i hope it stays this way, BUT ive got to teach her to not try and follow the ferrets down the burrows lol oh and shes a proper sneaky little cow when your backs turned, shel sneak off with your shoes and chew them to bits

    there was only two bitches left when i got to see them and wish id took both to be honest mate. im in leicester. shes a smasher she sits and stays on command but the retreive is getting ther slowly. she comes out with the ferrets now and then all in all im more than happy with her. where abouts are you? atb mart
