yeah thats the same over here for our fox season to mate. by 13-16months old they would be pretty much fully developed physically, how about mentally? are they slow to mature?

G'day fellas, Just wondering how young everyone starts there hounds? Cheers EDIT** I realise that over in the UK (which I assume most on here are from) you have issues with laws and such. Over here in Australia it's a bit more lenient. Was thinking if a fox was to bite a hound to young it could be a deal breaker for the hound wanting to sniff them out again. I've had it happen with sight hounds and terriers over here

	Beautiful hunting grounds

Yea mate I don't really know what it's like over there hunting wise, Australia is great for hunting! Brisbane is a big city, as soon as you know what you want to hunt come on ozziedoggers.org Pigs are fun, if you can get onto a few foxes i'd say there a lot different to anywere else. Spotlighting is big over here, it's a little but more of a challange to spot a pig though. Roos are illegal to dog/shoot unless you have a special license. Both myself, brother fox, Dan Edwards and I suspect a few more are off ozziedoggers forums. All the best with the move. Steve

G'day all, thought I might introduce myself. My names Steve from Australia, I'm 23yo with a few hunting dogs. My main 2 are runners and ones a stag/greyhound bitch and the others a stag/wolfhound/greyhound bitch. I love the running dogs. I chase foxes, hare and rabbits. I also have a mastif/great Dane pup which I will use on pigs. Cheers Steve
