ask your butcher for a box of boned out chickens mate cheap and the dogs love them and really good for them also lamb bones neck, breast and so on. marrow bones maybe some fish once a week. wouldnt bother with the dry food mate only if u run out of the meat and give the fruit and veg maybe twice a week and let them have access to plenty of grass. on this diet they should drink less and poo less and its easier to clen up after mate.
raw or boiled

My mates puppy is on a flesh based diet as my dogs are and they are thriving we currently pay around 40p lb for the mince to which i add cooked rice and raw grated veg ( sometimes cooked) 3 or 4 times a week. I think if you wanted to buy it from a shop its anywhere around the 60/80p lb. Ask your butcher if you can have his left overs that he has to pay to get rid of and you should get a good mix of meat fat and offal. Have you a local greyhound track ? you should be able to get meat from there
no local track but may try butchers thanks

i have owned both saluki and collie types.saluki types are ideal if all you want is an all out coursing dog. i prefer collie types.i like to see a dog working properly.using its brains its nose, retreiving not that far away look.

quality pitures riohog still considering my options on saluki blood the Mrs is convinced which is handy but ive got to get this beddy whip sorted before expanding the pack
saluki blood all the way mate wouldnt get another lurcher unless it had at least half saluki in it they always seem 2 amaze me in the field.
what would the other half be collie?? (because people say salukis lack intelegence/obiedence)?
pmsl they are clever enough to catch those gazzell , and definatly no collie in them !!
fair comment but there are no livestock to distract them no roads to stop them running into and no real chance they are going to retrive a gazzell live to hand i was more contemplating collie blood to make my training easier as i am not an old hand?
what food is best
