    We missed Saturday after the North Wales Terrier club bash on Friday night so we made one in on Sunday. The lad we were meeting was milking till dinner time so we had a late start. We checked half a dozen or so spots but nothing at home,which was suprising cause they were run and the weather was f**kin freezing. Farmer joined us and we went to a srappy little spot.Just a rubbish dump in the middle of a field really. Dropped a dog in and waited.     Havent posted for a while so heres a quick pic from weekend. Tried my young bitch in a shallow but very rangey place. Round and round she went.....baying then quite. When she showed we picked her up.Shes keen as can be but the scent just confused her. Dropped in a veteran bitch owned by DS who made it look easy. Got a mark at 700.Very rooty but had her out in no time. She just held it and never moved.No fuss. Good day out,bolted another three later on in the afternoon. A couple of beers then home. How good can it get? YIS

    Neil the Middleton'strain book is crap, the old Middleton terriers were good i have old midd lines in mine , we can disect the back ground of every line , and ill repeat the question i asked Gary at the Yorkshire when did you put welsh in your line , never got answered mind, , so its back to what Ive said a hundred times, lines are only as good as the memory of the person who bred the terrier and the records kept , and the people who they obtained there stock off in the first place, old photos can be looked at to compare todays lines look at the photos of midds old stuff in that book and other

    Two Black Pups for sale in West Yorkshire One Dog and One Bitch. Sire: Black Fell Type.Rough coated with white bib. Dam: White parson Type.Rough coated with Tan markings on Head.     top man Stevolad, nice looking bitch that.Nice and strong. Had a decent season this year. We got the pups a nice steady start,nowt too hard.......every time a win and all that. The little black one is a complete out and out phsyco and will tackle anything to ground. Ive got to hold her back or she wont make 2 year old.She just wont bay?I suppose she'll learn. The other black pup is only a bayer.She'll just sit in the tube and bark. She needs to go and find more though and get a bit closer. She got a face full a couple of times and although she didnt like it like the other pup she did

    I Was lucky enough to be asked out for a bit of pest control with a mate and a Keeper. What A cracking day out. :boogie Freezing cold but sunny with clear blue skies. We had three easy digs although the third led us a merry dance. This fox was the biggest Ive seen and in very good condition. It worked the dog hard and if it wasnt keepered land,Id have liked to see ot run for another day. The fox was humanley dispatched. YIS TonyT

    Lost today Sat 19th Jan at Skelton , York. Small black rough coated male. We think this dog has been picked up by a local dog walker,While we were in a wooded area with the hounds. (Maybe Innocently) We searched for three hours looking for this pup,and knocked on doors on the local housing estate. This dog Belongs to Nicky Newburn of Halifax. Any info please PM and Ill pass on to Nicky,as he doesnt use a computer. YIS TonyT

    Nice one mate. The dog in the pic will retrieve well. I concentrated on it when I was convinced he wouldnt work fox. This last 6 months though hes a different dog......must admit though not as obedient/under control as he was. Perhaps something has got to give.........any pics then mate? T

    What sort of dog is it mate because mine is exactly the same but just a little less white on her chest. When I bought it the chap said gouldxnuttal not that I am an expert but I think mine has a lot of Lakeland in it. She has been out with me today and is fantastic at getting pheasants up. What sort? Well depends who ya talk to..........is he Fell? Patterdale? Black Lakie?...........Hes a cross. His sire is a big smooth Nuttal Type........Dam Fell type. Hes 14 inch TTS. YIS T

    Yes mate,but her siblings are red.One smooth dog and one broken coated bitch. This is her sister.
