  1. My mate uses a T8 and it is very good. Much better than the one he had on before, don't now the name of that one though sorry. But the T8 certanly does a good job on the .223. I have spoken to others on the shoot who say they use the same and are pleased with it.
  2. I use a cluelite. Very good and battery pack last a long time to
  3. Nothing wrong with my hearing. I would not put a SAK on my HMR again! The DM80 is alot better and not just an opinion people have do sound tests using different mods on HMR and the DM80 came out on top. Sure you will find them if you do a search on here or pigeon watch forum. Anyway personal choice and I would not use the SAk although I would use it on a .22
  4. I have a DM80 on mine and does a great job. I have used it with both the SAK and DM80 and the SAK does not come close. I would not use it lamping on my permission with a SAK mod but the DM80 does the job just fine. I have shot two rabbits next to each other at about 1m apart and they did not complain lol
  5. They all have their own personality and my female red is as soft as a brush. The key is not to drop their weight too quick or too low, manning and fitness is needed to make them responsive. Too many falconers are too keen on dropping the weight on BOP to make them responsive and not done enough manning and fitness work. If I lower the weight on my female too quick or too low, then I would have to watch my fingers/ hands lol. I have reds and Harris hawks and both types are good to work with.
  6. Hat off to you. You will make some very happy people.
  7. Looks like your gonna be busy lol. Hope you can keep your word and supply them.
  8. Hi I have got two redtails. The female is 7 now. She is soft as a brush for me but does not like others lol. She is a very powerful hunter. I lamp with her as well. She is flying free but just getting her fit. Steve
  9. not necesarily bud i make good quality nets from good quality twine and i only ever take £1 per net because its not expensive to buy twine and rings and such and it doesnt take long to knit a purse net but my point is my nets are no worse than anyone elses just because they are £10 for 10 and not £25 for 10 Bloody hell. It costs me £10 with postage just for the spun poly never mind the rings and cord. Get me some then for the price you get it for. I can not make them for a £ each. And they don't make themselves!
