You need quality dogs to do earth stopping for a seasons hunting.

Believe what you want , but it is the truth. There is lads doing it. Two days a week stopping and two hunting days. The numbers don't be long in adding up. and bolts. So if a fox is bolted twice then dug that's one fox not 3 Bolts are not counted.

SO , how many of those keeping the terriers of yards out there you speak of are digging for a living. Digging numbers of 300 + a season. I bet they are weekend warriors. Would I be correct.

DF has kept this family of dogs for a very very long while now. That itself should tell you something.

SO , what about the stopping days. Would you say it requires a lot ? He is likely another who cannot get his hands on this great family of dogs. For various reasons !nah you can keep them, only the dogs are any good and I don't want dogs from 2nd rate fox bitches.. Don't believe all you hear butt ! And what bloodline do you keep ? GO ON 'Tallywacker' tell everyone what bloodline you keep.

He never called it his 'line' as such. He had a job to do and needed tools for the job and made them himself. And as the saying goes 'The rest is history !' I personally think the man was way ahead of his times as far as breeding terriers went.

iv seen by far better bitches from various lines over the years, it seems ns has achieved what he set out to do and that's breed great hunt bitches.. Would those bitches have seen the graft as NS bitches though.One or 2 digs a fortnight and some look great. Try them 5 + times in the day......... a few times a week ! NS dug for a living. Only good terriers stayed with him. Same with DF , . Some folk would not believe a percentage of the stuff that NS/DF dug if you told them. i would believe and do believe the amount they've done! Time is not everything. I have seen out + out bayers stay for hours on end when the quarry just sits there. Those same out + out bayers could not dig quarry that did not want to be dug. Not about the earth , its about what is in it. -

yea the little fluffy bayers generally have..The ones Ive seen weren't little fluffy bayers.must be out crossed stuff then.. Can't speak for them all, but ns type bitches Iv seen were only good for hunt days, which is how the man wanted them..That's why I said NS blood. Not actual NS dogs. Ive seen a few that have definitely got a lot of that blood running through them and they weren't fluffy bayers.there you go then, out crossed.. NS family of dogs was just a mixture of outcrosses. Sorry , should have worded or put it better ! What i mean , is that it is easier to get in shape with good natural foods. Exercise/training does play a big part. You only get out , what you put in !

You cannot...... Simple as ! All a good digging dog needs is a good diet and plenty of general exercise. Diet is -90% of fitness. Be it humans or dogs.

Out of interest..... How long have you been making these mills ? I know lots of good dog men who had them off of RP and never had the problems you mentioned , above. And you'll find most good kennels here in the U.K + Ireland are using RPMillmaker mills.

Well , we have had the standard mill for 5+ years with no problems. Now have the KS about 2-3 years and no problems - Speak as you find ! Yes..... I did import , straight to my door by DHL. I do not have any videos of the mill in use.

Free running butt ! Most are way over priced. And I personally do not think they are needed for digging dogs.
