Good post mate but i've highlighted the bit that will never change, why because for every bond that is made between lurcherman and keeper/landowner there will be some prick that comes along with a dog or gun and f**k the trust up and so the cycle will continue. Don't suppose you know how he did it please? the pump is fitted above the boiler, its a noisy b*****d but you get used to it. It kicks in when a tap is opened...... Looks like JB has a good idea there although he is lying about the 50 pumps then change hands.....his record is 16 and a half....

I dont have mains water in my house Moll so i got an inline pump fitted, mainly for my shower. I'm sure that was around 150 pound for the pump which does the whole house so you should be able to pick up a smaller one for what you need....

Alot of these syndicates and teams of guns look at shooting as a day out, a social thing maybe, a chance to get pissed up with the lads and try there skills at knocking down a sky scraper pheasant or getting ridiculed for being a useless shot. Lots of the days i picked up on last season were a great bunch of lads, small business owners out for a laugh and a bit crack on the day. Where I live Mal its a common sight but only in the one part of the valley,I was informed by this bloke who flys micro-lites thats it to do with the cross thermals. Spot on...................seen them do it a few times, catching the wind to keep in the one area.....
