  2. Damn i'd never seen a tomour that size in a roe before. Thank god you shot her. Nice shooting
  3. Well im speachless...its the biggest peruke buck i'v ever seen. @Martin. That means if I'll find a goldmedal munty for you,you will find a head like that to me That's a deal Martin and foxdropper, 1 rep each for photos like that. I you have more big or abnormal heads, i would love to see them,
  4. I was in the hunting business for some years and there for i still have the contact to some of my old partners in England and if some of my old clients call me and ask if i can help them, i say yes because i like to give my old partners a hand to help selling their hunts. Back to the reds. Those two reds has extremly good heads, but their body'swere really small. On that estate the actually shot a couple of stags each year with impressive bodies. The deer gamekeeper told me that for the last 3 years it look to him like the biggest stags(antlers) had the smallest bodies, but as he also sa
  5. Very good story, thank you very much. And a very nice fox. Congrat.
  6. Ohh yes i love the CWD hunt. I have been so lucky to have the chance to hunt in some areas in Norfolk where there is several of them, so i'v been trying for a couple of years to get a really big one. We are only allowed to shot if they are big and i thought my first one was a really big one...well it was, if it wasn't a one tusker!! Last year in january i got my self a regular one, a good medal head (the gamekeeper told me it would be a gold before i shot it, but even it was an older one, it wasn't big enough for gold because the tusk was warn down.), but still a hunt i will never forget fo
  7. Well thats a super trophy. It's brilliant you had the photos of him in velvet too. Did you shoot him yourself? Well anyway thanks for the pictures, i just love those abnormal heads, but that one belongs to the best i'd ever seen.
  8. You are writing to a man united fan...but after 33 min Milan leads 1-0
  9. They are wild stags. 1 from 2009 and 1 from 2008. The living stag is also wild and from 2008..
  10. Thank you very much. Well of course so big trophies as the reds are a bit expencive, but again, they are cheaper than in Hungary. We are shooting roebucks at a friends place and for us its not so important to shoot many trophies, we prefer to find some old or abnormal heads and thats not so easy, so often we only shot one or two each in 5 days hunting, but thats perfect for us, we are there to have a good time with my friend and visiting the pub now and then And in frrom Denmark, so if you cant understand what im writing, just ask and i will try to explain what i mean
  11. Thank you very much. Everything besides the big muntjac is actually from Norfolk and from the boarder Norfolk/Suffolk. I have been hunting in Devon and Dorset too, but never had a chance on one of the big roebucks from there.
  12. The last few years i have been hunting sevaral times in England and I only have good things to say about it. I might have been lucky, but I have only been having very good experience with it. I did meet a lot of nice friendly openminded people. I have been hunting several places in Europe, but for me England will always be my favorite, especially because of all the different animals you have, the well educated gamekeepers, the people we meet on the hotels and pubs, well i just cant wait to go back. Here is a few pictures of some of the animals what we did shoot over the last 2-3 years, I
  13. When I have been visiting England to hunt, I never really had the time to hunt pigeons. A friend of mine is a gamekeeper in Norfolk and invited me several times and finally we found one afternoon last year. I got 85 that day and then i was addicted. I went to England again a couple of month later and had a really cracking day (well at least it was to me, because I dont have a place here in Denmark were i can shoot that many) I arrived friday afternoon and asked if we should drive down to see if there was any pigeons. There was "a few" as my friend said!! So i was really looking forwa
  14. Hi every body, My name is Lars and im new in here. As written above, im from Denmark. I'm normally going to England several times a year to hunt pigeons, muntjac, cwd, roes and sometimes a red or fallow. I love shooting and hunting and i joined this forum in the hope that i could get some good information and advice about hunting in England. I used to work fulltime in the hunting business, im not anylonger. But I can still help if you are looking for a directly contact over most of Europe, but my best contacts are in Poland, Germany and Hungary and of course Denmark and Sweden.
  15. oh, so the magazine in an extra insert inside the removable trigger mechanism? isn't that similar to the R93? where the magazine is a plastic insert? DB No the magazine and the trigger mechanism is in one peace, but the extra magazine wich you will carry in your pocket is having a small plastic boxs over the magazine part, so everytime you will change your magazine, you have to remove the plastic part form your spare magazine, remove the original magzine, put in the new magazine and then put the small plastic part over the ole magazine before you put it in your pocket. Its to avoid
  16. I saw the new R8 by the gun dealer here in Denmark. The extra magazine is very expensive (about 370 £ over here), but for me, the worst was that the magazine was in some kind of plastic case, so it would take very long time to change it and then the advantage with an extra clip magazine is gone. I'll stick to my old R93 offroad.
  17. My name is Lars and i'm danish(I apologize my English writing), I was working in the hunting business for several years here in denmark, now i only do it a little in my spare time. I still have very good contacts in Poland, Hungary and Germany for wildboar hunting. If you want to stalk them during the night, i can recommend a very good place in Poland where you normally shoots between 6 and 10 during 3 nights. If you want to do it on drivenhunts, i have some places were a group of 14 guns normally shoots like 25-35 wildboars and 5-15 reds/fallow during a 3 days drivenhunt( a group of 14 gun
