  1. IFF lot can be a bit caustic at times, a lot like to make a basic process studied for hundereds of years out to be a mystery that only the chosen ones can truly undertsand master and enjoy I know they got the sport and birds welfare at heart , but every sport needs newcomers to progress or simply survive. they can make you feel a bit stupid mate. just thinking about flying him free for the first time makes me feel nervous hahaha cant wait to crack on with it only 2 more weeks now

  15. Thanks so much for that, fab video, what a jump in the end!!! super dog!! thanks mate but like i said he had no other way round and everytime he goes to try to get through the gap i gave the command NO stick with it and it should pay off. that first video we were there for a good ten mins or so before he jumped he is 2 in december and loves jumping but as i said in my first reply now and again he will try to go round or through.
  16. And this is him jumping the same gate straight after what im trying to say is once they get the idea make them do it again and put a jump command to it to i think that helps
  17. ive manage to get it on, this is mine about 12 months old jump training see him trying ways to get through in the end he got the idea
  18. hi is your dog a collie cross only reason i ask is when i got mine quiet a few people told me sometimes if there is another way they will find it rather than jump, probably aint just collie crosses to be fair but when i started to jump train mine he was the same you need to find jumps where there is no other way but to jump start from scratch again with small jumps build up to get its confidence up. mine jumps like he is part kangaroo now but sometimes he will go round things if he can but 99% of the time he will jump. ive tried to put a small video clip of my dog doing some jump training bu

  20. thanks for the reply mate its the first one ive built and am pleased with it. cant wait to collect him but wont be ready till aug time so hopefully we dont get a wet aug like we seem to be getting now ill be straight into manning and training then out hunting. i ferret, lamp with my lurcher but i must admit see a BOP doing what it was born to do is the ultimate for me and like you said when its your bird it just gets better. good luck with your MHH hawk and keep us updated mate
  21. hahahhaha i know mate, any ideas on what to use to board it out with i was thinking about a clear perspex sheeting something easy to jet wash and wipe over. anyone with any suggestions are welcome
  22. i think which ever you go for your in for years of good fun mate like you i did have a female in mind but changed my mind and going for a male now mainly due to speed and agile and if you can get a nice size male you should be able to take most quarry fur and feather well thats the plan hahaha fingers crossed just counting the days now to get started good luck with your bird mate
