  1. I have the Browning T-Bolt and I love the feel and reload speed. It's pretty accurate too - a good rifle for the money.
  2. I bought a Browning T-Bolt .17 HMR, 16.5" standard barrel with SAK mod on Saturday. I zeroed it in today and I'm very impressed so far. But the truth is, only time will tell once I've been out in the field for a bit. In saying that, my gun shop dealer has one too and reckons it's the best rifle he's owned and I know another gun dealer who's selling his Quad to get his hands on one. One thing I will say, they're struggling to get them into the country quick enough. Apart from dealers who already have them on their shelves, Browning are saying January for new orders and the next batch co
  3. Hopefully the SPIII will get some action this weekend

  4. They certainly are mate. First I had a Beretta Urika* semi-auto, which was a brilliant gun (especially for hide shooting) but at the time wanted something of an all-rounder. So I sold it and bought a Silver Pigeon Sporting for game, rough and clays, upgrading last year to the SPIII as the Sporting was a little heavy for lugging around a muddy field all day. It's the best gun I've owned, light as a feather and beautifully made like you say. *The Beretta Urika is the gun in my avatar pic.
  5. Gutted mate Not been a member for very long at all, but the advice you give in your posts have been invaluable – what I've managed to read back through so far. Good luck in Germany. Lennie.
  6. Do you still want to sell this gun as you haven't replied to my PM mate.
  7. It's been very quiet on my shooting land for bunnies too. My AAS200 has only had woodies and corvids recently. So I decided to take out the SPIII for a bit of roost shooting instead, which was much more productive and good fun.
  8. Hello Daniel.

Good to see you on THL mate. Enjoy!

  9. Hello Craig How's tricks; sold that Tracer yet mate? Lennie.
  10. Signed. Is this a new one as I've signed one before?
  11. Hi there New to this forum so I don't know if I'm over-stepping the mark here, but I've always been told that wind is a problem for rabbits and they don't like to come out on a windy night. To be honest, I've not done a lot of lamping myself (I've done a bit but not enough to say I'm an expert), so it's difficult to back up what I've been told and the experiences I have had. I just wanted to ask if other members have had different experiences and would like to add to the 'wind'theory.
  12. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed watching that video. Very good.
  13. Hi everyone I shoot shotgun and air rifle over 200+ acres of farmland in Berkshire – rabbit, pigeon, carrion mainly. Cheers Lennie.
