  1. all rivers west gear is poor at wicking sorry but I have tested it in all conditions and it will not alow you to breathe and you do get what you pay for I gave mine away as it would have been against my principals to sell it on ! if you want good garments buy Nomad UK
  2. HE HAS NOW BEEN FOUND THANK GOD NO PADS LEFT BEEN WALKING FOR A WEEK NEARLY HOME COULD BARELY STAND WHEN FOUND !!!
  3. Elderly brindle whippet dog with a long white tail Last seen Monday near Cheriton Fitzpaine. He is thought to be making his way to Exeter where he lives. If you spot him PLEASE RING 07808 280868. By now I am probably the only person, other than his owner who is abroad, who will be able to approach him. We are desperate to get him before he is into Exeter traffic. Reward for his safe return.

  5. good water repelancy hard wearing but no wicking (wet inside garment upon removal) well constructed for the ocasional user not for the demanding hunter on extended hunts

  9. Have put this in deer section but would value the opinion of all folks on the hills in all weathers ! Need to gear up for my highland stalking, with my lowland stalking I am happy with my Swazi smock over natural layers that don’t sweat (having got rid of the rivers west gear) So when out on the hill crawling for god knows how long through heather peat bogs up and down gullies what do you wear? Jackets trousers under layers? And when walking up and down the steep hill faces crossing burns and maybe some more crawling what’s your footwear choice Boots?

  12. Thanks for all the comments guys we have been fishing out there for 5 years now most Reservoirs contain barble some standard some comiso (go to 30lb) most larger barble are predatory and feed on the bleak take fly plug deads and lives !! all go like stink all the barble I caught were on dry fly takes are crazy and most do 40yrds of backing on the first run due to the shallow water it is like poor mans bone fishing with you spotting fish miles away a competent angler can easily catch 60 barble a day mental fishing!!!! they can also be caught on sunk lines and fry imitations
