Best way to teach a longdog to jump

The fence/jump in the run is very popular with loads of folk but have never felt the need to actually "teach" a dog to jump as they can all do it just that some are lazy and others very willing and quick to learn. Out with someone once whose dog couldn't jump :blink: bit of a shock to the owner when it cleared a fence running along with mine -
I've never bothered and never would, if I've moved to another field without the dug, they'll soon learn and it's never failed yet What do others do? atb gol

Check to see who is authorised to enter by the warrant. Only allow the persons authorised in the warrant onto your property and insist that any others leave. cheers skellyb gol

Hi, I'm just a few posts in, joined up today and have been reading some of the threads on here and I have to totally agree with you Before I joined there was nowt to really suggest how bad members are to one another on here, but since joining, what a shock, particularly in the "dog" sections where in my opinion just by the "usernames" it is obvious that quite a few are muppets who couldn't care less about the welfare of their mutts From what I have managed to read today, I'd say "God help you!" atb gol
