how whats done chaseing bags or game ..mark ....\???? mine chase bags in summer for a piss take and bit of fun but from late september till early march they only see proper stuff ,but i dont have to prove my dogs to anyone,mark hey mark i didnt even mention you ..its you who gave me the invite ..i will take you up on whatever you want i.e.rabbits or whatever ..i will just like to state my dog wont chase litter so no litterr chaseing.. i believe your dogs are whippet crosses corrcet me if iam wrong but once we have done your chossen quarry then i will invite you to my domain for a cup o

best thing i can say whin is if you want to win a race these days get you dog on the bins .. its was the first and last time my dog goes near one feck me the next step will be taking em out on a windy night to chase litter .... jobs gone fecked mate f**k the ban ....

hey whin ive never raced a dog in my life only terriers for the fun of it because it all ends up in a big pile in the middle but this year i thought i would give it ago ..my dog set of and caught up to the lure then pulled up when he realised it was a plastic bag and rightly fecking so ..imo. theres no way my dog would pic litter up its a disgace if they cant even use real fur ..whats this country coming to ...

frank i dont no how this has got onto the breeding of your dog again but mark my words you are the now owner of a sluwhippet...theres no collie in her its a throw back it could be 6 generations back when they have added saluki to fetch the size up and add more wind then bred back out ... like ive said before frank i would be proud to own it with that little dash of saluki in it .... haaaaa haaaa......it isnt every day you get a throw back...

cheers for your replys lads..i understand all your views and respect them... but my prefered lurcher is a focused one what i mean by that is when on the slip day or night he will go for what you are looking at and what you what him to catch to me that means you have your dog under control eg... if you slip him on a deer pre ban of course.. he goes for the deer and not the rabbit that jumps up in front of him ....but i also like them to free run i.e. off the slip and useing his nose and taking what ever pops up in front of him ....but when on the slip hes going for what you want him to go

just wondering which type of lurcher you would prefer ...i.e. do you prefer the oppotunist e.g.the lurcher you have slipped on a rabbit and while its on its run a pheasant takes off in front of it and it goes for that instead ....or would you prefer the foucused lurcher the one that stays on its quarry not matter what pops up in front of it ?????it would be intresting to hear you views on this ..???ive got my own views on this and no what i would prefer .....but would like to hear yours there are qualites in both but which one...?? ALL THE BEST SNOOP

mine will also run through sheep to get at deer and has done like you say jd they are alot clever than we give them creidt for ..... but some dogs take a liking to different quarrys pre ban me and amate was out with our dogs daytime and there was a roe in our sites both dogs saw it so we sliped the dogs as they were makeing there way to the deer a rabbit jumed up in front of them my dog completely ignored the bunny and kept his eyes focused on the deer but the other dog took off after the rabbit.....and these dogs were litter mates brothers .....mmmmmmm..strange things the lurcher but you cant

it isnt just the scent its the site as well my dog will go mental if it sees a deer when iam in my motor its not a vocal dog at all what i meen to say if iam lamping with amate and its his slip on a rabbit mine will watch and pull the slip trying to have ago but dosent make asound ..but if its a deer he starts whining and will get vocal not yapping because i wouldnt tollorate that but he starts singing a bit he absolutly loves em also if a rabbit gets away through bushers or whatever he will stop after aquick search this is on the lamp iam talking about ....but when hes on the back of a deer h
