    to many people on here know better than the person who actualy own the dog.no wonder so many dogs keep getting passed around.i am very good at training dogs and this bitch has not got what it takes.

    to be fair mate i have given this bitch many chances to come good but she will never make the standard i expect.a good dog will go nuts to get to its quarry and need to be held back at an early age not encouraged untill its i dont know how old hoping it may have a personality change.all those with a first class rabbit dog will know this.ive had them in the past.this does not mean im gonna shoot the bitch though.i took responsibility for her when i paid my money and put her in the car and il do my very best to see she gets a good life.trouble is i am a lone hunter.i dont know any other lurcher

    i dont know what the parents were like to be honest mate.the owner said there good dogs and he seems a nice fella there is other people on here with bitches from the same litter.maybe there doin okidont know.it is hard mate cos shes so likeable.

    forgot to say this bitch was worked on a beating line last year and is great at finding pheasants.she was worked of the lead and returns to the whistle straight away.there are people on this site who will vouch for this and the keeper will too.

    yeah have done mate.we have family farm and she is great around stock.bit playfull round the pigs but they dont take much of that milarky.i am thinking about shooting her now though so i can be a true hunting man and pretend everyone else just sits at the keyboard.

    i am looking to rehome my lurcher bitch.look at my previous posts for pics.my reason is i dont think shes going to turn into a great rabbiting dog.she has caught rabbits and will run the beam very well but she loses interest after a few runs.ive been told that the deerhound blood does throw late starters but i personally feel she lacks the keenness to become an out and out rabbiter.she may suit someone who only does a little bit of work now and then or for showing as she is a cracker to look at.but please understand in my opinion this bitch hasnt the determination to become a decent hunter. i
