Hi all, a family member of mine has a spaniel bitch and gave birth to her first litter a few weeks ago, she is making to much milk and the vets have said to keep her away from the litter for 3 weeks so the milk with dry up for her own safety, they have lost one pup already and have been told the rest might not make it. any one know what the chances are ? i would be more than greatful for and replies Dan

  6. They are no good on badger. They are no good on fox. They are mediocre on cats.Any dog will kill rats and MICE.They will only take on opponents if they are much smaller than them. And they will bite children. And if i had one that got lost I would throw a party and move house in case he found me wow thanks for that, that goes against every think i have ever read
  7. hi mate, i dont have a kerry blue but i was going to get one however, i couldnt find a breeder. the kerry blue are meant to be great workers for hunting badger, fox, rats and mice. but i have been told they can go for cats and many other animals. they are ready to take on any opponents - a necessary attribute when hunting and killing vermin but not so good for a family pet! Some terriers are yappy and are known to nip boisterous children. They can also be quite independent and difficult to train.

  10. Hi wuyang, from what i know it happens in breeds that are used for hunting i.e terriers... it is normally when they are not far from a year old, when they begin to understand hunting and want to chase, they move away from [playing as a puppy and want to hunt as they become more confident, however must dogs with grow out of this aslong as you dont give up and keep working on the dog.
  11. Let me know what you think of my border terrier please
