    what is your mate crossing to another half cross or a whippet had a 3/4 bred dog many years ago and was probably one of the best i ever owned and became very well known in local area still get asked about him when i go home and and it is nearly 30 years ago[/quote) he isnt sure yet mate he thinks probly another half cross but i have said to use a full whippet to get the quater bred, but its his dog and up to him at the end of the day, if he could get a 1/4 bred sire that would be better in my eyes,

    there are classes that these breeds can enter, e,g, pure bred sighthound, but theres nothing for a bull terrier, unless you put it in any terrier wich dont usually go to the championship, but hopefully this year will be different

    why use it with a bigger dog? surely its fast enough its got the power, so why?? theres whippets of old that can do the job on there own, and 1/4bull wouldnt a 3/8 5/8 be better, thats my opinion

    is it not how you bring a dog up that sets the temprament, im sure if i left my dog in a dingy flat for days on end on its own it would start to crack up, same thing all the time, getting tarred with the same "viciouse dog" brush

    strongstuff at the time of last years shows i was helping a mate by going with him and showin 1 of his lurchers, and my dog wasnt really doing the deed, plus most of those shows dont have an "any terrier" class if only they did! and the year before that my dog didnt even exsist during the show season, and they only stopped putting kids up the chimney because you were the best and u couldnt fit no more, Any ways my dog will be at every show with me this year no matter who i go with, and hopefully i WILL be able to show her, but this isnt about me n my dog, every bull breed owner should have

    Jesus ............. So you'll have 20 or so Bull breeds, and their owners standing around in a ring .............. the dogs will have muzzles on ................ most of them will be screaming at each other .............. That will make a nice photo for the Scum newspaper or to go on Panorama. Low profile is the way forward! staffs and english bulls can be shown at krufts why not in the working dog shows. its ridiculas every other breed can be shown just not bulls!!! if not muzzles what do you propose strongstuff?? ideas welcome, how do the aces people manage it??

    explain mate? currant climate? what you meen is the ban, right so coz of the ban dogs that were used before it should be discontinued?? erm no!! my dog can catch a rabbit, works with ferrets, does what i want her to, shes not a vicious monster with humans(adult or child) and is sound with dogs wether she knows them or not, so i cant show my dog because a minority of bull breed owners decide to fight there dogs, i think thats unfair is it not??

    i think your wrong to say keep them out of shows, surely rules could be put in place to allow such shows, e,g, muzzled dogs, you cant tar every bull owner with the same brush, were not all in it to look good (strange thing to say on the topic of shows lol) not every one wants there dog to be harder than his mates,, i think and im sure alot of other people would agree, that bull terriers should be aloud to be shown in a working terrier show, cheers samstorm

    lately i have noticed alot more people have working bull terriers be it english, staffy, or whatever, yet they cant be shown at lurcher and terrier shows, they are after all working terriers, am i the only one that would like yo show there working bull terrier off in the show ring aswell as in the field?? cheers samstorm
