  1. Was just wondering if there would be any interest,in a few pups that i'll have for sale,in a month or so's time. Can post pix of sire dam and pups. These are some of the strongest pups ive ever reared.Possibly because of the Bull imput.I have 4 dogs, and a bitch. But will be keeping a couple back for myself. As i said.I was just wondering if there would be much interest in these beauty's.The sire is possibly the fastest whippetxgreyhound dog in ireland,as his kennelmate won the all ireland racing championship, owing to him busting a toe,in his heat. She has never got within 6/7 lengths of him, till th
  2. Get youreself any of the canon bodies, and you can now knock up a canon 18/200 IS lens, for around £350,on ebay. This one will save you having to change lenses all the time, and the quality, and sharpness is exelent.Plus almost all youre hand held shots, will be spot on.Had one of these lenses, and used it a few times, before i got the offer of a clean swap, for the canon 70/200 L lens, that im using now.The shots of the black bitch, with the racing jacket on,in my topic NEW MEMBER.were taken with the 18/200 IS.
  3. Those are spot on Kay.Light makes some difference.Would have been proud of those shots myself.Unfortunately,i depend on a totaly differend kind of light, when im taking shots at daddy Christmas's.They are a bit camera shy over here in ireland.Though there are a few deer parks, where you can sit in a hide, and wait for them coming out in the open.
  4. Nice shots youre beginning to get.Keep at it,and carry youre camera everywhere, when you can.Think of it,like one of the old gun slingers, years ago.Who always had their gun strapped to their sides,in case of emergencies.
  5. Olympus dont handle noise above 400.Why i changed to canon. The newer more expensive ones arent as bad though
  6. Ok where do i start i am really struggling with focus on the photos i am trying to take , i did some of my dog today runing & the focus is all wrong it was set on sports mode & AI servo & i also tried TV Ai servo just cant keep it in focus What was youre ISO set at,and did you try locking youre auto focus.Or dont you have that option,as i cant remember all the buttons on youre camera. Was it a dull/very dull day.As this can make an awful difference. What was working a couple of weeks ago.Wont work now.As the lite has dropped off something terible lately.Could you go in

  9. Sorry folks.The flowers and robin,and the landscape,were taken with my 40d,and 70/200 F4 l lens.The others,of the Goldie,and stariling,were taken with a wee panisonic FZ7
  10. Just joined hunting life.As i heard there was some good photographers on here.Am realy impressed by some of the stuff ive seen thus far.So thought id give you all a wee teaser,of whats to come from me,on here.Im no expert, and have only been using a DSLR,for 2 years now.But love it.I take mostly action stuff, and have just purchased an F4 L lens.Heres a few i took the 1st day i used it.(Hand held)
  11. Why dont you just download google picasa, for free. Its a one click option, for black n white.Complicated stuff, just becomes kids play.
  12. Hi folks.Names Billy, and ive just became a member a few minutes ago.Started off taking pix a few years agoon a compact, and then bought my 1st DSLR camera. It was an Olympus 400,with 2 lens's.Did quite a bit with it,till i was shooting my daughters school sports, and got the odd sneaky ook,at what was happening on the screen of a canon, that a bloke next to me had.Within a couple of weeks,i was a canon owner.Started off, with a 400d,and kept upgrading, till could afford a 40d.Simply,cause i needed more frames per second, for my line of photography.Once i had the body i needed.I then set about getting
