ive recently replaced a knackered turbo on my van,,the exhaust was full of oil//when restarted after the turbo was fitted the ecu light was on..it smoked and chucked oil out of the exhaust for a few mile ans cleared up ok but light still on..now its started to blow black smoke and the front pipe has started to blow slightly,,been told that it could be the cat blocked putting the light on and causing thr sooty fumes......any ideas cheers scotty

Went for a mooch this morning with my two dogs and nearly came back with one..both dogs took of after something,they were running side by side at a rate of knots into a tree line when they sort of shoulder barged each other , my young bull cross ran straight into an extremely large tree.he made a bllod curdling bitch scream and lay motionless on the floor,,i honestly thought he was dead,, i was about 100 yards away and ran over expecting to find him lifeless,,,he was lying there eyes rolling around and panting hard..i kept him on the floor as he was strugling and he finally calmed down and ju

it smokes as soon as you start it up,,i was told if the turbo bearing has gone it..it will blow the oil straight out of the exhaust with a lot of smoke..hence thats why there was hardly any oil in it..i think youve got to take the engine out to get to the turbo anyway or the front subframe..propa mare..i cant get to it to check the shaft..i need treble jointed arms that are as thin as straws..ha..i was thinking head gasket but far to much smoke and ticks over to well i think??????? scotty

hi ive just bought a cheep peugeot partner van x reg with an 1997cc td hdi engine..the problem is its like a james bond car...starts fine and then blows mountains of white smoke..also oil coming out the exhaust and somewhere from the engine???? Ive been told its possibly the turbo gone and its sucking the oil that cools it and just chucking it straight out the exhaust ??and also the engine any advice would be splendid..its got 150,000 miles on the clock so could it be rings or something else?? cheers scotty

Hello mate mine was chasing anything he could at 4 or 5 month while out on walks and was showing serious interest at the same age as your dog (7 months) but i never started him until about 10 or 11 month slowly building his confidence up day and night But all dogs are different and different breeds develop quicker than others mines 16 month now and still a daft pup, i personally would hold on a bit longer and give him time but others would say different depending on if your using it for accasional sport or serious pest control..thats just my opinion mate im no expert good luck though

Alright Im getting my lurchers toe mended by a greyhound vet with some type of infared treatment,,,,has anyone had this done and was it any good? cheers scotty
