  1. Hi all. just wondering if there is anyone around south yorkshire/north east derbyshire way thats got a vasectomised hob that i would be able to put on my jills in a couple of weeks? One of them is fully in season, but the other one is just starting. ATB, Adam.
  2. Hi all. Thanks for the advice. I have put a bit of filler everywhere there was a gap on it today. I've left it to dry over night, ready for a sand in the morning and then a paint job! Should have pics tommorrow or monday. ATB, Adam.
  3. Phew! thanks very much. I was afraid he might have some flea or mite or something. Im the only person in my area that has ferrets, so i have no-body else to ask. This forum is a godsend. And that is right Kay, its right at the root of the hair and is greasy when you pull a bit off. Thanks again ATB, Adam.
  4. I've been checking my ferrets over today and cleaning out the hutch. whilst going over my big hob who has just come into season, I have seen he has some black type spots that look like they are attached to the bottom of the hairs of his back legs. They don't seem to be bothering him but I don't like them. Does anybody know what they are and how to get rid of them? Click to enlarge. ATB, Adam.

  9. Over the last few days i've had some spare time. So, nipped off to BnQ to get some sheet material. Still needs alot doing to it. Paint job, strap putting on and obviously catches on the front of the lids. But here it is in its raw state. (It is by no means perfect, and there are a couple of mistakes made, but I am pleased with it.) http://s1080.photobucket.com/albums/j329/adammubu/?action=view&current=IMG_2666.jpg http://s1080.photobucket.com/albums/j329/adammubu/?action=view&current=IMG_2666.jpg#!oZZ2QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs1080.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fj329%2F

  15. Thanks very much for the replies. I sort of had my question answered for me while I was just out. I was at a local engineering comany where one of the workers owns a HW77. I was telling him about my predicament whilst holding his rifle.. I said if it was the weight of his HW77 it wouldn't be a problem and asked him how much it weighed. He fetched out the scales and it read 4.5Kg. Well, as the TX200 is supposed to be a 4.2Kg, and i was shouldering the HW77 with ease I dont think i should have much of a problem. Anyway, I shall visit my local air rifle shop and have
  16. Hi all, I am 16 years old, and as funds will available to me soon, I am looking into getting a good springer to shoot live vermin, (under supervision of someone over 21 of course) I have been looking into the Air Arms TX200. Which I understand is a very high quality rifle. The only query I have is the weight. Now I'm not a 'noodle arms' (as I've heard it referred to), neither am I a body builder. So I was wondering if people thought this would be a good rifle for someone of my age and build. Or would the Hunter Carbine TX200 be a better substitute, or a HW77? Th

  21. 1. Ferrets can climb quite well, and some would put one on top of the other, or they can easily just be side by side. just depends if you want to cut a hole in the bottom of the top hutch and attach a ladder or staircase up to it. Or have them side by side and cut a hole in the side and put a tube connecting them or somthing similar. Just depends on space and preferance really, have a think which way is going to be easier to clean out. 2. Wood chippings on the floor is the best, makes it easier to clean up there excrements. For Bedding, you can use just old jumpers or really anything, jus
