  1. Right guys, as some of you may of read my other thread, regards advise about cartridge size etc for my daughter. I have know decided against the revo brand of shotgun, and am more swayed towards the yildiz range for my daughters first shotgun. However here lies the problem, im unsure as to which model is the 20 gauge junior/youth version. What with all the sp spm spz etc, so in a nut shell im just after some good honest answers as wich to look out for cheers all hh

  2. Right guy's im thinking of picking a revo 20 youth up for my young daughter. She has just turned 10yr old, I also have another 2 up and coming boy's who will also hopefully use the gun in time. My question is what loads should I get for her to use through it. Im thinking eley ct 21gram of 7 1/2 shot,I do not want to put her off on recoil, do you think these will be ok. Also being a m/c what should i put in to get her started busting clays, as obviously early success is key for good motivation and moving forward, any help and advise greatly appreciated, cheers hh

  3. Just a quick update. Did any 1 else have apup from this litter off the site. I can honestly say I am over tje moon with my little bitch. She id doing everything I ask of her. Eagerness to please knows no end. I usually likr to stsry my dogs off slow and steady, however with her I didnt really have that option as she kind of self enterd as such, and we have not looked back since. She is still only a pup but her drive and focus is through the roof. Iv had her out shooting over her since around 8mth old, and we are beating twice a week on the glan usk estate. She hunts really well with a nice close pattern, a deamon for retrieves anf steady to shot and flush. So in a nutshell im over the moon with her snx really pleadef I msde the decision to get this little mad bundle of fun cheers all hh

  4. For what it's worth here's my view...... Deerhunter seems to be pretty crap. I had the Ram jacket (original one not the new "lighter" version). It was very warm and comfy and certainly shower proof. Beating all day in heavy rain however was a nightmare, the material soaks up the rain so the hem and sleeve cuffs were totally soaked to the point of ringing out very half hour. It was straight on ebay after that. I have since purchased a Harkila pro hunter - totally different class ( I appreciate its a totally different price bracket) Seeland is owned by Harkila so i also went out and got the Seeland Woodcock jacket for the warmer days - totally waterproof and does not need wringing out.

    Seeland over Deerhunter any day.

If you want something totally waterproof try Rivers West or Cabela's, I have a RW wild fowling coat with a10 year waterproof guarantee and it's the "mutts", tend to sweat up a bit though as its not breathable. Was out in all sorts over the Xmas break and can't fault it whatsoever

Wrll I never realised seeland was owned by harkila. This maybe will swing the vote towards the marsh then, cheers hh

  5. There are some paranoid people here , I don't know what is hunters paradise. There are several hits for that in google, but i don't know any of them. But I wanted to tell that there was one brave and kind man, who clicked on the link and filled out the survey. I assure everyone, that he is still healthy and didn't suffer any kind of mental demages. Also his computer is fine, he didn't get on adult sites or any list of criminals. Thanks him again!
