    Not so sure about that. I agree that money, like most things, has ruined many a sport. I've heard rumours about fen dogs using performance enhancing drugs etc. Which you've got ask yourself, why??? Money of course. Same with pups... But this isn't just a fen problem. One of the most famous puppy peddlers is a collie cross dealer by the name of Hancock and yet some people swear by them even though the rate of pups he produces can't be nothing more than produced from nothing more than pets. But the point I'm trying to make which has obviously went straight over your napper is....sigh..... there is no f*****g need to give advice.... shit happens, dogs actually go out and don't catch anything... it's part of coursing.... I'd cut my loses the now mate while you still have time..... chap it on the head, get another from the yellow paper and you'll be right as rain come November.....     could be though , my saluki's are [bANNED TEXT] nutters when my saluki dog got his 3rd rabbit he was running around for 10mins palying silly bugger with it Can you blame him!!! Before that he'd never seen 3 rabbits!!!

    I think a lot of people jump on the "hardest is a January Hare" bandwagon cos it sounds good. This might have been the case in the past when you had right bad winters and come January, only the fittest best hares survived. But alas, these winters are long gone. Not only is the survival rate from bad weather improved, so has farming methods. Crops that previously couldn't be grown in the winter are now thanks to polythene etc. So not only is the winters milder but an adequate food source is available too. Farmers use straw to cover carrots, turnips, potatos etc to prevent ground frost. Excellen
