  1. Does anyone Fast their dogs?? My pup is only 7 months so I wouldnt fast her till she is fully grown but I am intrigued Spelling into wether people who feed on a BARF diet do this.

Iv'e read that fasting a dog is really healthy for them to detox all the crap from their body!

  3. tripe isnt bad for a pup but it is of no nutritional value ... all it does is fill its belly and stop it being hungry ..... as i have said it is a widely known fact that food is digested better through sleep ... thats why all predetors sleep after a kill .... so by giving your dog its most nutritional meal at night ( chicken) it will have 10 hours or whatever to digest the meal whilst it sleeps ............

Good Points socks. So I should carry on feeding the carcass at night. What would you suggest for a subsitute to tripe??

  4. well i tried getting down to the dogs level and the retrieves came more definate to hand

but as soon as i touched the dummy with my fingertips she let go the dummy

it was a marked improvement but suddenly after about 8 retrieves she blanked the

dummy and wouldnt even acknowlege it was there she just looked at it as if to say get it yer fckn self mate

im going to try this again tho as it was a step forward.be good to hear how everyone else

is getting on at this stage of training cheers chay

The dog will get very bored if you do to much my pup does anyway!

They're obviously thinking "I'm not going to give it to you if you keep throwing it away"!

Just do 2 or maybe 3 a day on your walk and spread them out this will then keep the dog entertained and not jus retrieve after retrieve!!

    Hope this Helps :victory:

  5. Right from reading this Iv'e had two completely diffrent opinions

DS I'm not concerend about the weight of my pup it's fine it's the shine of her coat a month back it was like a mirror now it's gone a little dull.

I'l definitley chuck the dry and just keep her on the carrot.

Iv'e got some ox heart here to and a butcher near me has agreed to give me joints of bone for knawing but promised all his meat else where! :(

So do you guys think it should be chicken in the morning or night!!

Socks Iv'e never heared anyone say a bad thing about tripe I was very suprised when you said that. The main reason I get it is because of all the praise Iv'e heared. Isit really that bad for a pup??

    Math :victory:

  6. Right Boys and Girls after reading many posts Iv'e started to get worried at the moment i'm feeding my 7 month old a pound of tripe wth a chopped carrot or hand full of good dry food in the morning and a chicken carcass after her walk in the night do uyou lot think that is to much?? she is a collie/grey x whippet about 21 inches and 14-17kg????

    Cheers

    Math :thumbs-up:

  7. Yeh the biggest gas guzzlers are going to have to pay £400 a year so I'm thinking Lorries and Tractors and then the the enviromental cars are £35 a year.

My l200 warrior is doing 34.5 mpg so why should I pay £400 when my 1.6 16v fiesta was only doing 28 mpg before I sold it??

f*****g labour c**ts shoot the lot of them!!

First they ban hunting then stop us taking our dogs off road by slaming up on tax!!!

    WANKERS!!!!
